ClientDisconnected - how to prevent this from showing up?

hi I've got a 7-client ZEO cluster. The client machines are Celeron's and the ZEO server is on a dual XEON. All communication is over a private network with a switch in the middle. Lately I have been getting ClientDisconnected errors more often than I would like. restarting the offending client or the zeo server is a temp solution. I'm not sure why the disconnects are happening but I would prefer for zope to simply not respond than to send that error messages. That way the loadbalancer could mark that client as down and send requests to working clients. Visitors would never or very infrequently see the Clientdisconnected error in this case. Has anyone else implemented this? Mailhost

Hi, i'm using zope 2.5.1 (linux version) with mailhost and i send emails from my web site for an our service. Yesterday my smtp server (that work on another machine) has not accepted the request from mailhost for to send some emails, so now i have lost this emails... I would like to know if the mailhost write somewhere a copy of mail's content... Can you help me? Thank you, Simone Iannelli

AdvancedQuery is a Zope product for flexible queries against "ZCatalog" or "CatalogTool". Queries can be arbitrarily combined with "and", "or" and "not". All index types are almost fully supported (exception: relevance sorting of TextIndexes). AdvancedQuery supports efficient incremental (lazy) multi-level sorting via FieldIndexes. This means, you can sort via e.g. "sort_on=(('Date','desc'), 'portal_type', 'id')". For large result sets, sorting is performed incrementally, only as far as you access the result. This can drastically speed up sorting time. AdvancedQuery is especially efficient for "ManagableIndex"es (see: <http://www.dieter.handshake.de/pyprojects/zope#ManagableIndex>). New in version 0.2: * optimization of descending sorting using new "ManagableIndex" features. ZPDF Document and Tables

I have a ZPDF document inside which I have to create tables? I am usingHTML instead of structured text. Is there anyway to create tables within a ZPDF document? If not, are there any other Zope products that would allowme to create a PDF document and use tables inside of it? Any help would begreatly appreciated. Thanks. - Asad

Problems building RPMs

I'm trying to create Zope 2.7 RPMs for my SME Server distro (a Red Hat 7.3 variant designed for small businesses). I've installed from the source tarball, and chosen /opt/Zope-2.7 for the location, including the instance home. All runs cleanly when built from source. I therefore attempted to create an RPM, as my production server does not have compilers installed. I used Chris McDonough's 2.7.0-b1 spec file, amended for the directory structure noted above. joining/leaving a Version through URL

I can join, save and leave a Version through an URL but I want to do it without being redirected to the version's management screens. It would be less confusing for the user if instead they were returned to the page they were editing after saving the Version. anybody know how to do this? THanks! Michael A. Database Truncation...

Hi All, I am having this problem where my zope database is truncated then the whole site crashes then some user folders are gone.
