I had this error myself when I tried to compile Zope with PCGI. My solution was to get myself the python-devel rpms. (with Redhat 6.0). So, if you are working under Linux, you might give it a try... Failed to connect with ODBC Sybase System 10/12 driver

Hello, I have an Excel file to get DB records through ODBC Sybase System 10/12 driver. If I run the file within VB editor of Excel, it is working. However, if loaded into Internet Explorer by ASP, and click the file name on IE, it can not work( always failed to connect to ODBC). Could you like to tell me what is happened? Many thanks..... NTUserFolder requires win32ext - how do I link to that?

I have read the advice about using the inbuilt copy of Python when installing Zope, and confirmed for myself that I don't see how to get Zope to use an existing installed version of Python. But I am trying NTUserFolder which relies on win32 extensions. I have installed NTUserFolder and confirmed that it too doesn't run with the default installation (<Error Type: KeyError; Error Value: PARENT_URL>, when adding a new user; details below - I assume that lack of win32ext is the problem but could very easily be wrong). I would like to know either - how to get win32extensions visible to the Zope copy of python, or - how to get Zope to look at my 'win32all' python installation (which I would ensure to be the latest version of python). As always, thank you for any pointers to a solution. This is because the XML representation is actually only generated by XMLDocument; the data is actually stored as a tree (in the object database). Error?

Hi, If property pDate is of type Date, then why does this gives an error? <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('Date', ZopeTime())"> Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: Invalid Date-Time String Error Value: and what is then the good code? And, why are the python methods, eg DateTime not recognised? Regards, Tom.

Hi XZoppiste, I'm new in XML but now I can do nice things with the example from Amos in xml.org. I bet on this format, it's too fun ... Now, I'm trying to change a XML via HTML form; I readed the suggestion at the end of the xml.org article and the source code from Builder, Node, XMLDocument, ZDOM but I cannot find a way to write the changes I created in the DOM tree into the XML data file. Is there an integrate solution ? Should I program something by myself ? FR
