Zope encompasses all of Python philosophies and extends them with it's own Pyhtonic Zen. Also, it is *very* easy with ZClasses (a feature of Zope 2.0.0a) to take existing Python code and turn it into a Zope application. any streaming audio formats that Zope can serve?

Playing with some Zope stuff that serves up a .wav file (dynamic sound content, mmm) it occurs to me that it would be nice to be able to have some sort of streamed content (so that the end system starts playing before it's fully downloaded the file) Are there any "streaming" type audio formats that don't require a special server? Then Zope could just deliver this to ZServer (or Apache) and let it stream the data to the end system. Obviously the format also should have a reasonably available client... Anthony

I'm new in Zope. I've read much about the concept and the architecture of Zope, but some questions remains: Why there isn't a Apache-module for Zope. I believe this solution would better than the PCGI. Am I wrong? Thanx for answers. Uli

You would use it like this:  In Zope 1.x, you'll have to create an external method that returns the result of the python range method for you: def MyRange(iMax): return range(1, iMax) and call it from your in tag:  Note: Above code is untested. Q3: if the answer on Q1 is "yes", are there any Zope gurus out there who want to help me on structuring the site, maybe writing some of the utilities that are missing? One of the reasons for picking Zope is that I'm considering making the add-ons for collaboration available as part of the project, so that schools can run Zope (Zope fits the OSES requirements for platform independence, that's a very big benefit). Q4: (this should be an easy one - maybe I've missed a FAQ somewhere?) What's the easiest way to have "last modified ... by ..." on the bottom of each page?
