How to set the login prompt?

(This is on Zserver standalone.) I'm using the LDAPAdapter product to do authentication in a particular folder in my tree. (I'm using EtcUser above, for a different purpose.) I'd like to change the prompt that's offered to the users when they're challenged for a password. IIRC, right now it says "Enter Password for Zope". I think this is the http realm, right? Can I change it in the context of my subfolder? (Without changing it for the entire server?)

FastCGI compile failure under RH 6.1

I've successfully installed FastCGI behind Apache/Zope on a RH 6.1 server. Now, on another server, also RH 6.1 and with the bug fix for apxs, I get the following when I try to compile: [root@stage2 mod_fastcgi_SNAP_Oct06]# apxs -o mod_fastcgi.so -c *.c gcc -02 -m486 -fno-strength-reduce -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_EXPAT -I../lib/expat-lite -fpic -DSHARED_MODULE -I/usr/include/apache -c fcgi_buf.c apsx:Break: Command failed with rc=16711680 I'm guessing that

Has anyone got a binary for the Sybase connector for NT? I want a connector to my SQL server DB that doesn't have the stupid serialize thunk in. Making a Folderish ZClass 'callable'

In various DTML Documents of my site, I have a table that contains links relevant to the content of that page. A method called "linklist" is acquired, and code like this is used to generate a table of links: <dtml-with Folder_Containing_Links> <dtml-var linklist> </dtml-with> I'm contemplating replacing the above with a more elegant solution: create a ZClass called LinkContainer that derives from Folder that holds the Links and make the linklist DTML method the index_html method of that folder. Then, ideally, I could get a list of links like so: <dtml-var LinkContainer_Containing_Links> Unfortunately, the above returns something akin to: <LinkContainer instance at 86b61a0> and I have to resort to <dtml-var LinkContainer_Containing_Links><dtml-with index_html></dtml-var> I think I could fix this if I could adjust the __call__ method of the ZClass, but, alas, I can't create a method that begins with an underscore. If I had implemented LinkContainer in Python, I could have, though. adding XML documents programatically

I know there is a DTML command to create a folder (or other objects without using the mangaement interface... For example, I pulled this off the mailinglist archive: <dtml-call "manage_addFolder('aFolderName', REQUEST=_.None)"> What I am looking for is how to add an XML document in a similar fashion. I actually want to call this from within python, but I imagine the syntax will be similar. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Zserver logs

Is it possible to configure Zserver to produce logs with domains rather than just IP addresses? ZClass Property Sheet Question

I'm trying to define some properties for a ZClass that I'm writing. I want to create a property which can be one of several values. I click on my ZClass and select the Property Sheets tab. I then select the item which contains the properties which I want to edit. I'm then presented with the page which lets me add or delete properties. I enter a new property name, select "selection" as the type and then I'm not sure what to do next. The text of the page seems to indicate that I need a property or method which returns a list of strings, but I'm not entirely sure how to do this. Can someone explain to a newbie how to initially populate a selection property? Thanks. James W.
