Hi, Im still trying to get image risizing to work in zope. Using PIL directly inside zope (using StringIO) caused an IOException with larger images. The same code works fine outside zope. Now I tried to make the resizing in independent python script. the script works without any problems, but now i am unable to write my image data into file. Hi all! I've spent the last night trying to get it work, have read the relevant howtos, but still... My problem: I want to use the above config, but I only manage to get it work partially. I want /manage to automatically get ssl-ed, +some folders. I've been trying to set up some access rules, though I'd need some namespace (?) tricks to redirect queries to https, simple SiteRootBASE and SiteRootPATH isn't enough. (It sets all the links on the page to https, but just after auth. (I guess Zope had to dinamically process the queries) I realized I probably need apache's rewriting capabilities as well, though I did not achieve anything useable. I tried. Apache with Zope and mod_pcgi2 handling a whole site

Hello, mod_pcgi2 users. Most of you know already that my module has a problem being installed onto root location. Some sressed that even installing it onto locations started with common prefix (<Location /a/b> and <Location /a/c>, e.g.) lead to a problem. I think these are the same problem, actually - it is just that root is common prefix for all locations. I am not sure where is the bug - in my module or in Apache. May be I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what is wrong and how to fix it. Well, a user of the module prepare some information and workaraound. Thanks, Thomas! But the actual workaround looks very suspicious to me. Anyone who want to resolve the problem - please look into it; we'll discuss the problem and the slutions here... Oleg. Hi, In my environment I use a cgi based calendar system. I want to integrate this calender in my zope gui (which means in fact that I want to have the standard_html_header/footer included, thats all. My cgi is running on a apache web server whereas zope uses zserver. LocalFS bug fix release

I've posted a bug fix release for the Local File System product as version 0.9.2. This fixes the following problems: - Fixed a typo error in __ac_permissions__. - Fixed a bug in manage_upload. The 'file' parameter must be a FileUpload instance. It was accepting a string as input which caused an error. The product is available at: http://www.zope.org/Members/jfarr/Products/LocalFS I've also changed the versioning scheme slightly to make it easier to track bug fix releases (and encourage me to do them ;)). The scheme is now: <major version>.<minor version>.<revision> major version: A major rewrite or milestone, such as the inevitable change over from 'development' to 'stable' releases. minor version: Adds new functionality, but maintains backward compatibility with previous versions having the same major version number. revision: A bug fix release. I also made the change retroactive in the documentation. I hope this doesn't cause undue confusion. I'd rather deal with confusion now to get it right in the future, though. ZCatalog

I am having some trouble with copying and pasting CatalogAware objects. The problem appears to be with the reference to self.REQUEST in the url() method of CatalogAware. I'm not sure whether this is the problem, or whether I am doing something incorrectly. Newbie method rendering question

I would like to include the contents of a Squishdot site, which is at /squish/index_html, within a DTML method at /Squishmirror. In Squishmirror if I use <dtml-with squish> <dtml-var "index_html()"> </dtml-with> it gives me an error, seemingly in the process of rendering /index_html (not the /squish/index_html that I want.) If I instead try <dtml-with squish> <dtml-var "squish.index_html()"> </dtml-with> it gives me an error because it can't render the first siteheader variable within /squish.index_html. Is it not possible to render a product from a different location? Or am I just getting the calling syntax wrong? (Or both?) Thanks for any help, Larry Albert lda(a)rice.edu
