ExtImage and PUT_factory: no success :-(

I want to use a PUT_factory to create ExtImages instead of plain Images via FTP. My external method PUT_factory looks like this: # from OFS.Image import Image from Products.ExtFile.ExtImage import ExtImage import string def PUT_factory(self, name, typ, body): '''create ExtImage instead of plain Image''' major, minor = string.split(typ, '/') if major == 'image': # return Image(name, '', '') return ExtImage(name, '', '') return None When I use the commented parts (plain Image) all is fine, with ExtImage I get '426 Error creating file.' You are becoming desperate. If 90% of the products don't work, Zope probably wouldn't be so popular, since many products are integral to Zope's usefulness. Can you give use more information? Hi, how to get the content of an image object. I want to set a DTML-var with the binary content of an image object... <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('logo', _['name_of_image_object'])"> oviously sets logo with smthing like <img src="name_of_image_object" ...> but the thing i want is the content... pls hlp! thx oliver --- I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. Some computers have a seperate energy saver in the bios, that is not influenced by the settings in my Windows OS. using sqlsession in python script??

Apologies if I have come through to the wrong list. I would like to use sqlsession in a python script. The equivalent of what I'd like to do from a dtml method is: <dtml-call Session> <dtml-call "SESSION.set('userid', 'snowch')"> How can I do this from a python script? Help with database users !!!!!!!!

I am starting to become desesperated ............. With zope 2.4.0, and there is no way to have "something" working well. 90% of the products don't work. Including the database users folders. I have tested all, and none is working. I can't install posgree adapter (exuser folder seems to be the better product now and it allows posgree), and mysqluserfolder is failing (after installing the adapter, which was not inmediate). About manage_editProperties...

Hi all, I would like to use this method to edit ONE property of my object. But if there is only this property in my form, the others are also edited with empty values... Of course, I can put hidden tags in my form but it is difficult to respect properties like text or lines properties by this way. And of course, I don't want all the properties to appear in my form. Is there another way to edit only ONE property ??? Thanks, Frederic Quin

Site slows down

Why is it that after a whole day of running the Zope clients of ZEO suddenly slows down? The only way that I get to fix this is by restarting zope. BUT ZEO is not affected. It is just the clients. Why is that? What is the maximum connections that a Zope server can handle? Hope you can enlighten me. Thanks.
