Zope Newbie needs help with DTML

Hi all, I couldn't get this code to work in Zope. ZEO or INSTANCE_HOME Problem

Hi, I receive from oracle my datetime fields as a UTC float presentation. Probably a stupid question, but how can I convert it to a string presentation... all things I tried so far failed... I must be doing something stupid, but I can't find the correct syntax. Thanks, Tom.

That is sort've what I wanted, yeah. Though I thought the VirtualHostMonster would take over from there, see that it was coming from test.gourmetpaws.com and then 'map' it to the appropriate subdirectory in Zope. (I probably didn't mention that bit before, sorry!) I have the VHM setup for test.gourmetpaws.com and then mapped to the appropriate subdirectory, but regardless of anything of changes I make, it seems like "ignores" the VHM. Either that or I misunderstand the _vh_catalogue portion, which I assumed kept the URL reading test.gourmetpaws.com/catalogue and appending the Zope-specific stuff to the end. Time Zone question

maybe dumb question? How do I get zope to operate with local time zone? I see at start up I get two time zones, GMT and local, as follows: 2001-12-18T03:29:54 INFO(0) ZServer HTTP server started at Tue Dec 18 14:29:54 2001 When adding anything, "Last modified" records in GMT. This is confusing our developers, and me, since everything seems to be done at some ungodly hour in the middle of the night. PS. I've tried setting TZ in the startup script. cheers Graham

Hmmm... I tried to apply the changes to my httpd.conf as suggested, but things don't seem to quite work out. With the new VirtualHost section in place: <VirtualHost test.gourmetpaws.com> SSLDisable ServerName test.gourmetpaws.com ServerAdmin root(a)gourmetpaws.com DocumentRoot /home/paws/public_html ProxyPass /catalogue http://24.82.192.244:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/test.gourmetpaws.com:80/Virtu alHostRoot/_vh_catalogue ProxyPassReverse /catalogue http://24.82.192.244:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/test.gourmetpaws.com:80/Virtu alHostRoot/_vh_catalogue ProxyPass /misc_ http://24.82.192.244:8080/misc_ ProxyPass /p_ http://24.82.192.244:8080/p_ ProxyVia on </VirtualHost> Whenever I traverse to test.gourmetpaws.com/catalogue it now just takes me to the root index_html of the Zope install (version 2.4.3). Right now, to get around this I've installed a SiteRoot again (with different ProxyPass rules) in the appropriate Zope folder to get things working... but if I use the SiteRoot than I can do the same thing by rewriting without the VirtualHostMonster. Am I missing an integral step or done something strange? (Not that doing something like that would be out of the question, indeed!) Hi, i have solved (more or less) this problem a few weeks ago. Due to the content of the page is dynamic, what i do is to put a link that calls again the page with the same parameters as the first time, and another more to not show the navigations. To get the parameters there are two ways: if they appear in the URL, you can catch them with the QUERY_STRING object. if they don't appear in the URL (cookies, REQUEST.set, ...), you must iterate over the REQUEST object to get them.
