In a sendmail method, I use this strings to generate the TO:-adresses from a selectable list: to: <dtml-in adresse> <dtml-var sequence-item>, </dtml-in> When I select 2 recipients, it works. unauthorize !!!

Hi, I am protecting a folder \test using a login manager with TinyTable. The TinyTable contained the user info and was created inside the UserSource of the acl_folder of the Login Manager together with the userAuthenticate, userExists, userRoles and userDomains python scripts. The main problem now is that each time I open a new browser to access the content of the test folder and I got unauthorize error when I used one of the user info store in the TinyTable. But got successful when I used acl_user at the root folder. Regards. -kamal

Runing Zope-2.4.1 on OpenBSD 2.8, "mysite:8080/manage" won't load.

I have gotten Zope-2.4.1 installed onto my ISP's OpenBSD system, after initially being tripped up by OpenBSD's BSD version of TAR, which does not like the @LongLink feature of GNU Tar, thus Zope filenames were truncated. Now that it's up and running, I can access mysite:8080, which gives me the QuickStart page, but when I try to go to the /manage page, it gets as far as showing three frames, and then either loads part of the top one where the Zope logo is, or even sometimes part of the left one (where the contents tree pane is), but never the largest one on the bottom right hand side, which should contain the view of the current page. I have found by killing and restarting ZOpe repeatedly (sometimes up to a dozen times), I can get the mysite:8080/manage page to open ONCE, but after a few clicks, it freezes up again. Anyone got any ideas? Help! Warren Postma

String .lower, .upper, and .title in a Python Script

Okay, here is a strange bit of behavior in a Zope (and python for that matter, as I'm working with a python script. In the string module, there is: .lower(), .upper(), .capitalize(), and .title(). In a python script... myStr = string.lower(myStr) # Works! myStr = string.upper(myStr) # Works! myStr = string.capitalize(myStr) # Works! myStr = string.title(myStr) # DOES NOT WORK! If you look up .title() in the python manual (its on page 8 of the Library Reference Manual), it has .title() as one of the string functions (presumably in the string module). Unfortunately, if I run .title() in my stript, I get an AttributeError for "title". Not so with the others. Am I missing something? TIA, Ron

Zope dtml-sqltest and MS Access data types

Hi. This probably has a simple answer. If I set up an field in a MS Access 2000 table with a data type of Long Integer, and then try to write to it using a ZSQL method and the DTML "dtml-sqltest" tag with type set to "int" or "float" I get an ODBC error. The Zope Book lists the possible data types available for sqltest as: int, string, float, and nb The only thing i've found to work is setting type to "string" Are the other MS Access data types, like long integer, memo, data/time, currency, etc supported by the the dtml-sqltest tag? Help! Sorting on a numeric id?

Hi everyone, How do i sort on numeric id? I have a Folder containing Zclasses with numeric ids. what i am trying to do is to sort it, but it treats the ids as strings as it should, how do i sort it so it treats the ids as numeric values? <dtml-in "objectValues(['ZClass'])" sort=id> <dtml-var id> </dtml-in> Produces: 1 10 2 .... 9 Any help would be greatly appreciated. php IMP/Horde from Zope

Hi, anyone tried to integrate Horde/IMP with Zope? I need autologin to IMP, i.e. users authenticated in Zope should be able to go to their IMP mailbox without reauthenticating. In my understanding, if I have page "A" written in non-PHP language, and I want to auto-login to a page "B" (redirect.php), I have to assure page B that a user did indeed authenticated in page A. I can see two options to do that: 1. In page A, create form with fields "imapuser" and "pass", and submit via POST. This has a security drawback of being visible in HTML source of A, and being saved in web caches etc. 2. In page A, set a cookie in client browser that contains encrypted user name and password, and in page B pick up that cookie. Encryption can be cracked but it looks more secure than 1. 3. Use some form of communication between A and B on the server, probably through SQL. Which approach would you consider the best? -- Milos Prudek

FYI: Fixed version of cadaver for cygwin available

Howdy. At: http://www.zope.org/Members/paul/cadaver.html ...is a page with a download for a fixed version of cadaver for cygwin. Namely, this is cadaver 0.18.0 for cygwin including the contributed patch for readline completion. For those that don't know, cadaver is a WebDAV client that works like a comman-line interface ftp tool. Many thanks to Matt Kromer for fixing the compile for me! --Paul
