Hi, folks I've got a graphic in a folder /common.global.clfheadere.graphic When I try to reference it from another sub-dir with <dtml-var "PARENTS[-1].common.global.clfheader.graphic"> it generates an error. But I can get a graphic from /common.graphic using the same method. <dtml-var "PARENT[-1].common.graphic"> What am I missing!!? tks Scott Syms Halifax, Nova Scotia

LocalFS and creating files

Hi all, Am I to understand that LocalFS is only for reading files? The README is practically nonexistant and the Zope site only shows how to get files FROM the localfs mount. How do I use a manage_addImage to put a file into the mount? Is this possible? It does insinuate somewhere that this can be done, but no examples for a newbie like myself... Simple DTML question

I am trying to make a DTML method that will list all the DTML documents in a folder with links to them. Here is what I did: <ul> <dtml-in expr="objectValues('DTMLDocument')"> <li><a href="&dtml-absolute_url;"><dtml-var title_or_id></a></li> </dtml-in> </ul> I name the method contents and call it by stating <dtml-var contents> in the document where I want the folders contents listed. This is giving me no output. The only thing I changed from the stock example in Chapter 5 of the Zope Book was the class 'DTMLDocument' - in the Zope Book the classes 'File' and 'Folder' are used. But in the API reference DTMLDocument is listed as a class along with File and Folder. Understanding dtml and/or its variables

Hi all, I am using ZnolkSQLWizard and it creates output like <INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="table.name"> ... Now I am trying to force the user not to leave the field blank. Usually it works with <dtml-unless "somevariable"> ... once again! ...</dtml-unless> but with <dtml-unless "table.name"> ... I get the error: Error Type: NameError Error Value: table (The Traceback is at the end) Like it seems it don't like the '.'? But for <dtml-var table.name> I'm getting the right value. So what I'm not understanding? How can I solve it and is it a good idea to use '.' in variables? I noticed that you did an md5_encrypt on the password. Is that common in all ldap servers, or do I have to do something else in Active Directory? /Magnus

Hello, I've got a big problem with uploading files. If the file size gets bigger(i.e. 1,8 MB), I got the nice 'attribute error:commit_sub'. I've followed the different threads but couldn't find any sollution. With a pdf-file with size about 60kb there is no problem! The files are added to a catalogaware zclass. Thanks for every hint.
