I'm having a terrible time getting the Virtual Host Monster to behave itself with Zope 2.2.5 and SiteAccess-2.0.0b4, so I'm thinking it's time to bite the bullet and upgrade to Zope 2.3. But various sites I host depend on various products, and it's typically not evident whether they all work as expected in 2.3, specifically: DataSkinAddons JPicture Renderable Squishdot ZDebug ZPatterns EventFolder LoginManager PythonMethod (Ok, so you use PythonScripts. Do they magicly upgrade?) TransparentFolders ZNavigator ZWiki Any upgrade experiences with these products would be enourmously useful TIA, John

How to remotely backup Zope object

Hello! I've just uploaded two very simple shell scripts that show how to use wget to do remote backup. Nothing spectacular, just simple examples. Corrupted Data.fs - A simple question

hi everybody Just a simple question. I have the following error: 2001-02-22T11:53:02 PANIC(300) ZODB FS FS21 ERROR: /home/scg/pecos/zope/Zope-2.2.2-solaris-2.6-sparc/var/Data.fs has invalid transaction header at 20846399L i tried to solve the problem with fsrecover.py but it does not work. I tried to see the contents of Data.fs with tranalyzer.py but i can only see last transaction and it has no relation with the error shown. Previously I ran 2.2.5 with python 1.5.2 and had Squishdot product on it. After the update everytime I try to add a new Squishdot with the Fancy demo with a 'blue heaven' theme I get the above error. then if I install just the Plain vanilla web pages theme the application installs, but then I loose the left frame, which shows the following error: Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. Error Type: MemoryError Error Value: Out of memory while compressing data I then need to restart the server, once I done this the os works for a while, but then when I say remove a folder, for example the squishdot I just created I get the same error as above. Any ideas as to what the problem may be? please not that Squishdot was used as an example, the same happens if I want to install CFM or any other product. Thanks Norman

I don't know if it is what you want, but if you want to have just some code for BASIC input/edit/delete you can install the product Znolk (version: 0.1.3d). It generates the necessary forms and sql-methods.
