Hi there, I have built an class and added entries in that class. Now I want to use a list of that class in an other location in my Zope application. However I can not get the dtml-with tag to work. <TR><TH>Project</TH> <TD><SELECT name="projekt"> <DTML-WITH "http://localhost:8080/Jan_proj/Projekt/Projekten"> <DTML-IN "objectValues(['projekt Add'])"> <OPTION value='<dtml-var projekt_id>'><dtml-var projekt_id></option> </DTML-IN> </DTML-WITH> </SELECT> </TD> </TR> I know that the code above does not work. Simplified question repeat..Date - to - String

I need to use year() as a string value in a <dtml-with yearVar> type of thing. The folder's id is 2001 I need to use dtml-with to get to that folder. If I use the folder name of 2001 it works fine. If I use the variable name in the dtml-with, it does not work. Looking into ZCatalogs for the future but need a quick fix for this now. Any suggestions? Thanks...this date stuff is real pain.

KDE's Konqueror

Hi, Zope management screens cannot be used with Konqueror (http://www.kde.org) Konqueror always renders the page itself instead of it's management screen. Is it a Konqueror fault? I'd like to file a problem report, because Netscape is a royal pain when compared to Konqueror. -- Milos Prudek

Log Files.

hi, If I want zope to create a log file for each virtual domain, muts I have Apache out front to keep seporate logs files for each of the domains. Also, has anyone had success with any programs like Webalizer and Zope? I see the biggest problem being getting the output of webalizer into zope. Thanks, j. ...................... ..... Jason C. [OT] Timing out Zope by Apache/ProxyPass

We run Zope behind Apache/ProxyPass. Out client wants that a problem page pops up when Zope does not respond or takes too a long time to respond. I thought this should be easy with ProxyPass. However, my colleague was unable to find corresponding documentation. Does anybody know whether ProxyPass can timeout its connections? Dieter

Hi, we're planning a major update of our site and we are considering using Zope for it. However, I still have some questions left : (Note : we are absolute beginners in Zope) - we have no experience in developing with Python, is it easy to adopt this language ? - for the site content, we have non-professional writers (they don't even know html). So we will need a simple to use content management system. I understand, the management screens are suiteable. Is there some way to customize these for super-inexperienced people ? - the site will need a good search engine. Since we will be putting all of our articles in a separate database, is it still possible to use ZCatalog ? - how easy is it to maintain an Enhydra based website ? Generally and technically speaking ofcourse, I understand this has a lot to do with the complexity of it. - could you point me to some 'large' sites using Zope ? PerlMethod invocation

Hello, one of my PerlMethods returns a array ref. Another PerlMethod tries to get this ref and construct a select form from the data. Please find my code below. Shot in the dark, but you may not have the postgres devel files installed. I know that the zPyGreSQLDA needs some files from that group. The only problem with 'REQUEST.SET ...' is that now I cannot collapse any individual branche of the tree cause expand_all is always on '1' !!
