Subrahmayan, I can't speak for everyone you write to, but you should probably just send your requests to the zope(a)zope.org list. You need to write a method that writes the data out as comma separated values. To work with IE, you need to make your method name end with ".csv". Hi everybody, I have Zope running on a machine which has a few IP addresses. Is it somehow possible to make it listen on port 8080 of just one or some of these IPs, as for instance is possible in Apache with the Listen directive? Thank you Michele

Connecting to MySQL

I'm finding it difficult to put all the pieces together to MySQL enable Zope. I know I need MySQL-python-0.3.x and the ZMySQLDA ... and that to install those I need distutils ... but I'm running MySQL 3.23.33 on RedHat 7.0 and the distutils setup.py is conking out (I think) because all the directories are different. Is there an easier way? If not, can someone hold my hand a bit and tell me what files/directories I need to specify in the setup.py. I'm fairly new (two days with) Zope, (one day with) MySQL, and Python. -Don

I remember beating my head against the wall on this one as well, but I don't remember the solution off the top of my head. Do you have MySQL and Python both installed via RPM? //glw

Hello, would like to call a method which name I got stored in a variable, e.g: <dtml-let method='standard_html_header'> <dtml-var "method()"> </dtml-let> Which should evaluate to standard_html_header to be called. (Actually I got a table with a lot of method names in it and want to select one of them.)
