Sorry, I posted a message in German, ... Here is my question in English: I want to simply logout like it can be done in the Zope management Interface (on the upper right corner). And I tried different ways described at zope.org and in other sites found by google: <dtml-raise Unauthorized> was the first, I tried. But when I get the Dialog Window to relogin and I cancel this, I can browse again within the "user-auth" folder with the same user. <dtml-call "REQUEST['RESPONSE'].expireCookie('__ac', path='/', domain='.domain.org')"> didn't work too ( I think, that's because, the authentification method doesn't set cookies?). Addressbook bugs

I have emailed you before and asked you not to use the PATH_INFO variable, but instead to use BASEx, URLx and absolute_url(). This was fixed for some action tags. But NOT the breadcrumb at the top. Please fix :) Can you please not use the Zope submit button magic. It causes problem. Please use straight forward HTML forms:: <form action="contacts/manage_add_address_book_contact_form" method=post> <input type=submit value="New contact"> </form> And to loose the unnecessary extra space this causes, hide it in tables. <table><tr> <form action="contacts/manage_add_address_book_contact_form" method=post> <td><input type=submit value="New contact"></td> </form> </tr></table> Does it matter that I created a Addressbook with the id: "contacts"? Considering that this id is used for other things as well. I get a lot of 404's message by clicking the buttons. More bugs/feature requests to come as I have time to use it more. Best regards, Peter

merging two databases

Hi, I have an old installation of Zope with a lot of ZWiki-pages that I would like to merge into another installation. The old installation only resides on backup-tape, so it would be nice if I just could open the Data.fs file from the old installation into the new installation and select the pages I would like to copy into the new installation. Is that possible? Any suggestions how I should do this? Is this a FAQ? / Erik Eriksson

Building of Zope 2.3.1 from sources step by step: 1. untar Zope2.3.1-src.tgz in "MYHOME/apps/" ("MYHOME/apps/Zope-2.3.1-src/" is created) 2. call mypython wo_pcgi.py from top of untarred Zope After this building of Zope is succesfull but when I try to call ./start from top of installed Zope ("MYHOME/apps/Zope-2.3.1-src/") the above noted error message is returned. Hi, I tried to add a PHP file after installing the PHP Product,if i give both Id and title it gave me some errors,if i give only id a file is initiallly created.When I tried to modify the contents of the file it shows me IO Error,Permission denied.Whats the problem here. Hi All, I'm a novice and a graphic designer trying to learn web development using Zope. I have installed Zope in my win98 PC at home (without networking). I'm using the latest version of IE5.5 (just updated) and I can run zope but unable to access the Zope Management Interface. sending a mail in a ZClass constructor

Hi, I've got a MailHost in a Folder, which works fine when sending emails with methods that are in this Folder. Now I want to send an email every time someone creates a new instance of a particular ZClass, so I've tried to call a method in the Folder in question in the MyClass_add DTML method in my ZClass definition. I've tried both <dtml-call "mymethod(_, REQUEST)"> and <dtml-call mymethod> but with no luck: The problem is that the MailHost (called MailHost) is not found (KeyError), but mymethod is found, it seems. FYI mymethod is just some DTML code containing a dtml-sendmail tag and a message body, and works when launched directly in the Folder. Does anyone have any idea ? Thanks in advance Jerome Alet

Wrong <base href=""> for .HTM file

Look at this pywatch output below. When I request a file that ends in .HTM the <base> tag ends with a / which confuses the browser. The browser makes all relative references in the .HTM file (<img> tags for example) relative to http://localhost/Engineering/LSFReports/cibhrm6.HTM/ not to http://localhost/Engineering/LSFReports/ as you would expect. When I try this with a file that is named with a lowercase .htm extension, no <base> is generated, and the browser fetches all relative <img> tags just fine. I tried to figure out what HTTPResponse.py is doing with <base> but didn't get far.
