Hi ! we download Zmysqlda on win32 and it appears on the list of products in Zope. Nevertheless, we download mysql database Interface but it doesn't appears in the list of products, and we don't know why . Have you some suggestions to help us ? Uploading photos into an SQL database

...Never mind the why. The photo data (small - 80kb JPEGs) has to go into the PostgresSQL database. I'm using something like this: SQL_add_photo: insert into photo (id,data) values ( <dtml-sqlvar id type=int>, <dtml-sqlvar data type=string>) add_photo: container.SQL_add_photo(id,file.read()) index_html: <form action="add_photo" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="text" name="id"> <input type="file" name="file"> <input type="submit" name="Add"> </form> But I get: Error Type: Programming Error Error Value: ERROR: Unterminated quoted string insert into photo (id,data) values ( 17, '<y-umlaut><a accent> Any ideas? Apart from base64 encoding, that is... I actually have a suspicion that CST has nothing to do with it, and that if the mounted external database was (for example) a FileStorage, that this error might never happen. For one thing, I'm not sure if I need to add another role or another permission. I can't seem to be able to add another permission, I only see the ability to add a user role. So I tried that, and used SecurityManager.validate(). But it forces you to login, whereas I want a more passive approach. For one thing, I'm not sure if I need to add another role or another permission. I can't seem to be able to add another permission, I only see the ability to add a user role. So I tried that, and used SecurityManager.validate(). But it forces you to login, whereas I want a more passive approach.
