Underscore in Python Modules

Hello, I have a number of python modules I would like to run from ZOPE. The problem is that they contain many underscores and double underscores. So when I try to import them as Python Scripts, Zope gives me an error that "attributes beginning with _ are not allowed" Is there a way around this? thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? stopping acquisition

Hi, I have a method method_x. If there is a method_y in the same folder (not acquired!) as where method_x is being executed, I want to do one action, otherwise, some other. I tried this <dtml-with aq_explicit> <dtml-if method_y> Yup <dtml-else> Nope </dtml-if> </dtml-with> But it says "Yup" in Folders without a method_y Any help?

this() permission problem

I'm getting an Unauthorised exception from my DTML Method, for anything which refers to this(). I find this a bit bemusing since this() just returns self. So, for example, I *can* do: <dtml-var getId> But I can't do: <dtml-var "this().getId()"> Any ideas? HTML Selected not working

I am trying to make a value from an SQL query the selected one from an HTML option list. You can't use dtml inside dtml. I got this after uploading (load_site) a site, when trying to go into one of the directories in ZMI... anyone know what it means?? Too many things in the directory, or...?? I'm trying to produce the following results in an HTML form list/menu where: <dtml-var name> - <dtml-var descirption> gives me something like: [ http://www.zope.org - the official Zope homepage ] I only want the first few characters of the description though i.e. [ http://www.zope.org - the official... ] I'm having a little problem getting the desired results though as I get an *Error Type: KeyError* *Error Value: description[0]* <dtml-in expr="getLinks(category=_['name'])"> <option value="<dtml-var url>"><dtml-var name> - <dtml-var expr="_['description[0]']"> <-- problem here obviously <dtml-var expr="_['description[1]']"> | | <dtml-var expr="_['description[9]']">... </option> </dtml-in> Could someone point me in the right direction? But be careful... you'll get an error when you bump up against the root. display properties

I have a question about displaying properties of an image The situation is this : I have a folder called images, where users can upload pics. when the pic gets uploaded, the id also gets stored into a MySQL database when a certain page is called it retrieves the correct image from the folder by connecting the ImageID from the database to the id in the folder So far so good, this works fine. but when I retrieve the image from the folder I also need the width and the height from the image, and that's the part I do not seem to get right this is the code I tried : ( Photo is the DataBase entry ) <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('photo',Photo)"> <dtml-with expr="inbox.photos.objectValues()"> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('id',id)"> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('width',width)"> <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('height',height)"> <dtml-if "photo == id"> <dtml-var id> <dtml-var width> <dtml-var height> <dtml-else> No Pic </dtml-if> </dtml-with> I hope someone can help me out with this Thanx in advance, Menno

ZServer Security Question

I'm getting a number of "Successful login" entries in Zope log files. (I've included a sample of the log entries below.) I'm not sure what this message means, but I'm concerned about unknown users logging in to ZServer. This instance of Zope is only used for intranet stuff and yet the connections are comming from other domains. I recently took down an instance of Microsoft IIS that was running on port 80 on this machine (for security reasons) and moved the Zope instance from port 8080 to port 80.
