User management pages bug when exists a folder 'user'

Hi guys. I'm trying to figure out a way around acquision. I have a folder object in the root called 'user'. It's name causes a conflict in the DTML namespace in editUser.dtml at Zope/lib/python/AccessControl/dtml/editUser.dtml In editUser.dtml, there is a line <dtml-var expr="user.name"> This causes an error, as it acquires my folder object 'user', instead of the user object created by Zope/lib/python/AccessControl/User.py, function manage_users. Question: How can I bypass acquision, so I don't have to rename the folder. Thanks, Troy

Keep getting this AttributeError

Hello, I am going nuts here .. I have some code that I use in several places ... but there is one place it won't work. Here's a snip of the code: <dtml-in "cart_obj.listProducts()"> <dtml-let item="_.getitem('sequence-item')"> <dtml-var item> </dtml-let> </dtml-in> The cart_obj is a Shopping Cart object and I have checked (by printing out the REQUEST object on screen) that the object is set. sorting a catalog - order

This is probably really easy but I can't find it anywhere in the docs. Zope crashing

I'm unable to repro these consistently even under high load, which leads me to think there's an edge case coming into play here - but I don't know what. HELP -> Non-Transaction Tables couldn't be rolled back

I am seeing the "non-transactional changed tables couldn't be rolled back" error... I found this resource, but it didn't solve my problem. http://www.mysql.com/doc/N/o/Non-transactional_tables.html I have MyISAM tables. They're not transaction safe and I know that. I don't WANT Zope to try rolling back transaction that fail, yet it is doing so anyway. Recently I had been working with BDB tables, which are transaction safe, but there were bugs that prevented me from continuing to use them. I have reverted back to the tried-and-true MyISAM tables but, since then, whenever a site error occurs, I cannot see the traceback of MY error because of the subsequent rollback error. Hi... Please excuse me for this probably simple question, but I'm new to Zope and Python and didn't found the answer in any Zope documentation or in this mailing list archives. So how, in DTML or Python, can I "include" the output of a Zope object which name is passed as an URL's argument (for example: http://www.blabla.com/folder?content=myobject) ?? install problem: "Protocol wrong type for socket"

Hello, I just obtained the latest Python & Zope RPMs and installed them on two different linux boxes. Both installations are exhibiting the same exact startup problem, even though they the Linux versions are very different. Running '/etc/rc.d/init.d/zope start' results in the following syslog output: Sep 19 12:01:07 wwwin-irv-tmp zope: zserver.sh startup succeeded Sep 19 12:01:10 wwwin-irv-tmp z2[21050]: Startup exception : error: (91, 'Protocol wrong type for socket') Status check: # /etc/rc.d/init.d/zope status zwatchdog dead but pid file exists zserver is stopped The RPM packages I used are: python2-devel-2.1.1-3 python2-2.1.1-3 Zope-2.4.1-1 Zope-zserver-2.4.1-1 Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
