Unable to use new version of RenderPM

Hello, I installed the newest version of RenderPM 0.3 and I dont it listed in the pull down add menu. I can see the product is installed in the control panel. Am I missing something here? login troubles

Hi, yesterday i installed linux suse 8.1 with zope 2.5.1. http://locahlhost:8080/ gives me the test page. So everything is running and so far fine. But if i try to call the manager site on http://locahlhost:8080/manage, i cant login!! I try the root pw and all passwords of all users. But it doesnt work. I cant login. What ist wrong? Whiche pw and uid i have to use? Please help! Thank you! Josef

ZCGI integration

Hi, I've started to use the ZCGI Product. I have a Zope + CMF + Plone Environment. The output of the CGI-Scripts are displayed on a seperate page. Is there a possibility to integrate (embed) the script-output into my existing Plone site-layout? regards Lars

Checking files to upload

Hi, I want to check selected files for upload before. My script is this one: ------------------- id=context.REQUEST.form['id'] descr=context.REQUEST.form['desc'] fileToUpload=context.REQUEST.form['file'] context.manage_addFile(id,fileToUpload,descr) ------------------- The point is that, if I enter a non-existing file in the "file" input field in the form that calls this script, this code creates a zero-bytes files, instead of warning me... how can I change this code to detect "file not found error"? Using a Python script inside a dtml-tree

I would like to use it also in the framework of a dtml-tree, in order to order to apply ot to each object iterated through the tree and displayed as a menu item : <dtml-tree> <dtml-var my_python_script> </dtml-tree> Of course then, "context.REQUEST.PARENTS" is not good as it applies to the main object being called, not to the successive objects which are being retrieved recursively through the dtml-tree. string manipulation problem

I simply need to remove the leading x amount of characters from a string. I have a username that looks like this: ADOMAIN\jsmith This is on my NT network of course. I would like to display only: jsmith I tried using string.split, but I keep receiving errors. This is the code I am trying now. <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('authU', _.string.split(AUTHENTICATED_USER, '\\')[-1])"> <dtml-var authU> I'll be using that variable elseware too. Thanks for you help!
