Can't edit or delete data records after moving site.

I built a site with Zope installed inside of my INSTANCE_HOME directory. I then moved it to my ISP's server and they had Zope installed in /usr/local, with INSTANCE_HOME being /home/my_dir/public_html. Everything imported fine except for a python script which I wound up deleting from the .zexp and rebuilding on the new machine. Now that everything is on the new server, I can not edit or delete any of the old test information, I can't delete, cut and paste or rename the entry folders either. Deleting it from the Catalog also does not work . Any ideas? My old environment is Zope 2.4.1, Python 2.0 and Apache1.3.22 My new environment is Zope2.4.4, Python 2.1.3 and Apache 1.3.22 if this makes any difference. Michael

Problem with SessionData

Good day! There was a problem with loss SessionData at the manipulation with them from function which it is started in new thread and to which as parameter is transferred self.REQUEST. In function is called self.REQUEST.SESSION.get(). In some cases there is "loss" SessionData or to a browser is given new ID. ZOPE 2.5.1 is running under WinXP on the dual-processor machine. Hi, The MSWordDocument product uses COM on Windows platforms to get Word to create an HTML preview of uploaded files. Maybe this will help? The installation instructions also tell you how to add the COM extensions to Python, IIRC. Unexpected 302 in HTTP Header

Hi, I have a form that submits to a python script. The python script "returns" a DTML method but Zope never displays that DTML method - it redirects to another page and I definitely didn't tell it too. I tried to debug this with tcpwatch and a "302" showed up in the HTTP Header with the rendered content of the DTML method without any exceptions showing up. I am confident that there is no "redirect" in my code. Is there a place in ZPublisher's HTTPResponse.py where I can add some logging code as a way to track this down? Accessing Tracker Catalog

ProxyPass displaying HTML source

Hi, I am trying to use Apache as the front-end using SSL. It seems that SSL is not an issue, but I am getting HTML source code instead. As a test, I tried to use proxypass to zope.org and it worked. I can lynx 127.0.0.1:8080 and the page will be displayed correctly on the server where apache and zope are hosted. How to add a property to a file system product class ?

Hi everybody, I have a file system product, it has a class with some properties, but I now need to add a new property to the class, it works ok for the new objects that get created, but the old objects doesn't have the new property added, so when I try to display it, zope gives me an error. Zope/CMF Getting Started

In my search for a content management system I ran across CMF which sounds very intriguing. I am new to Zope and CMF. I was able to successfully install both Zope and CMF but as a user I have no clue what to do next. I was able to view everything on the manage page but what next? The CMF install text says: 4. Create a CMF object, join and begin adding content. Is there a walkthrough somewhere on how to create the CMF object? Regards
