Hi Im quite new to zope, and have a little question. I have some html files in different sub-folders I want to show. In the parent folder I have made a index_html to show a list of the files. The thing is that I want to show them including a header and a footer. I cant change the html-files, and the files is uploaded by users, so it has to be a dynamic solution. Maybe your solution fits me. Is it a product you have done? Is it downloadable from zope.org? Another question I have is this: if I have a big bunch of documents in the local hard disk, I would have to create in Zope an instance of your product for each document in the disk? If so, isn't there a way to just catalog a whole set of external files? (something like doing your modifications to a ExternalFolder product, instead of a ExternalFile product). I dug into the ZMI code and found out how it was doing this and make it work for me... Take a look at the result. If its what you are looking for, I can send you the page to take apart and see what makes it tick. Show Traceback in Mozilla 1.x

Cataloging external documents (word, pdf, excel...)

Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to catalog in Zope some documents (word, pdf, excel...) that are in the local hard disk, not in the ZODB. I've been looking round zope.org and I found some products (ZCatalog, Kaivo Document Library, MSWordDocument, etc.), but I am not sure if they can catalog external documents and if they can catalog non-html documents such as word, excel, pdf, powerpoint, etc. I thought I could just ask the list for help, instead of wasting some hours installing and trying them. Hi, I'm using DW3 with the Dreamweaver 3 Extensions for Zope: http://www.zope.org/Members/johanc/Dreamweaver3/zope_dw3_ext/ Works OK for what I want to do (connecting via FTP). Workaround for DW not opening objects with no extensions is to open a new window and drag-and-drop the object into it. While looking for the URL for the above, came across Dreamweaver DTML objects: http://www.zope.org/Members/careymatt/dreamweaver_dtml_objects Might be worth a look. Hi Wankyu I just looked at NeoBoard 0.9.2 and I like it very much. Just the thing I've been looking for. I have developed my own board product quite some time ago. I also had the problem with stripping HTML and leaving a handset of HTML that users can use. I used this product: http://www.zope.org/Members/struktur/HTML2SafeHTML It isn't easy to use at first but it allows for detailed configuration and works like a charm. Now I have to see if I can migrate my Board-product to NeoBoard. That means work :-( Here are some things I've done additionally: * The email notification is a plaintext mail with a link to the exact location of the message. I do this because I use SSL for security reasons and don't want to send the content via email, where it can be read. * Mailnotification for the administrator of the Board when new messages get posted. Hi, I'm pleased to announce ZWeather v0.1 ZWeather is a partial Python rewrite of the gnome weather applet, but integrated into Zope as a Python Product. ZWeather is distributed under the GNU General Public License Download it from : http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/ZWeather-0.1.tar.gz Extract it into your Zope Products directory, then restart Zope. Now you can add ZWeather instances, providing an id, title and a location code (most recognized location codes are in the file Locations which is included in the package, e.g. KJFK for New York JFK Airport) Then you'll be able to view current weather information for this location. Weather information is cached for one hour, unless you modify the location code. I'd be very glad to receive comments on this very early release. Thanks in advance for any feedback. Jerome Alet
