Problem with undo

Hi, since I installed the newest-stable Zope version (2.5.1) under Linux Susse 7.3, I have had problems when I click on the "undo" tab of the "manage interface". Sometimes it takes a long time to show me all the transactions that I can undo. On the while, it blocks Zope. So, people who is visiting the site can't see it till this is done. Often they will see the common error message that browsers show when they can't load the page. Is there any way of solve this problem? What are the causes? Thanks in advanced, Josef.

Lookinf inside page templates from a script

Hi I'd like to get the names of all the macros in a pt and of all the slots within each macro, but I'm getting guarded_item errors. In PageTemplate.py, I have found pt_macros(), which returns a dictionary with macro names as keys. Great so far. I can even print pt_macros() and get a string representing the whole dictionary. However, when I try to access the corresponding value so I can look for the slots inside each macro, I get the error shown below. Is there a way of gettting the macros and their slots from a script, or do I have to write an external method / product? Thanks Felix. Question regarding exUserFolder

I have a problem with exUserFolder. I have created a webpage which contains links to another wepage, the latter which is protected by exUserFolder and restricted to Authenticated Users only. For example this is my link: www.webpage.com/to_restriced?arguments If the user is not logged in then he / she will be directed to the login page in exUserFolder. The problem I am having is that exUserFolder doesn't preserve the arguement of the orginal address. What is lst[0] ??

Hello, Since I wanted to have only the 5 last entries of a folder containing news, i did this little script and used it in a ZPT : sorted_lst = sequence.sort(lst, (('date', 'cmp', 'desc'), ('titre', 'nocase', 'asc'))) if len(sorted_lst) <= 5 : return sorted_lst else : return sorted_lst[0:5] It works well, I've got what I want ... But I wonder why should I use sorted_lst[0:5] to have 5 elements since there is in fact 6 elements in it ?? I suppose sorted_lst[0] is some kind of a dummy element to stock some informations ... Running zope with Python 2.2...

Hi all, I have installed a Gentoo server, running Python 2.2. Since Zope 2.51 won't run with this version of Python, what should I do? Installed Zope 2.6 or running 2 versions of python on the same server (if that is possible...)
