Hi there, just tried to use Localizer here with the following setup: Zope Version (Zope 2.7.0-b2, python 2.2.2, linux2) Python Version 2.2.2 (#1, Feb 24 2003, 11:44:35) [GCC 3.2.1] System Platform linux2 Creating a LocalFolder and trying to access it will give me the dreaded: The object at http://www.newtech.fi:8080/Newtech2/test2 has an empty or missing docstring. Objects must have a docstring to be published. Is it me, the Localizer or python ? I also tried with an older version of Zope and exactly the same thing happened. I'm trying to speed up parts of our site, and I want to use cache managers (no sense rendering the same results over and over if they don't change often), but my editor wants to have changes go live immediately. I have python scripts that pull SQL results, and displays them nicely. What I want is when my editor inserts/edits/deletes an item, the script knows to refresh. Otherwise that item remains until the script gets too old in the cache. Zope Catalog Problem??

Hi, I have noticed that the dates for cataloged folderish types is not accurate. Specifically, the CMFPhotoAlbum dates that show up in the Catalog are wrong. I need for the 'modified' date or the 'ModificationDate' to be accurate. The weird part is that viewing the information in the ZMI shows the Last Modified date accurately. Please help. This has been driving me and my users crazy because my users publish and change photos and albums and the sorted list is all wrong. Is it possible to invalidate the whole RAM cache manager programatically? For that matter, how would I invalidate just one entry as the result of a form action? -jim

Yep, that does it! I guess I should have realised it, but I hadn't made the connection between the 'all_meta_types' method and the add products drop down. Now what worries me is the construct: 'if meta_type['name'] in self.selected_meta_types:' if self.selected_meta_types was a dictionary, I could understand it but it isn't, its a list. This should cause a 'not integer' error. There is something here I haven't grasped and I'm probably being dumb, so please enlighten me. url object?

how can I hardwire a link to a folder or a file in Zope? I'm trying to create a navbar method (?) and include it on all pages on different levels of the site. The relative location of the link of course would be changing throughout the site ... but I'd like Zope to do the work here ... Tried it like this <a href:"<dtml-var myfolder>"> myfolder</a> but it did not work ... thnxx 'K:)

Dynamic titles?

Is there any way to "override" the built-in title property of a Folder or Page Template to create a dynamic title? I cannot create a Script (Python) called "title_or_id" or "title", nor can I put a little ZPT TAL or Python code in the title attribute. So what can I do? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Reverse-resolve hex instance numbers in traceback?

Some tracebacks just don't give enough info. I have the following traceback (only the last 3 lines displayed): (Info: ({'script': <PythonScript instance at 8a4a090>, 'context': <r instance at 89a5560>, 'container': <Folder instance at 89ca148>, 'traverse_subpath': []}, (), {}, None)) File Script (Python), line 3, in writer_1_row File /usr/local/python/lib/python2.1/string.py, line 80, in strip The error appeared in line 3, in writer_1_row script. But that script is OK. The problem is caused by a specific ZClass instance which lacks the expected attribute.
