How to synchronize a Plone site between 2 zope servers...

Hi, I'm looking for a method to synchronize correctly a Plone site between 2 zope servers, because import/export is not a goog solution because of skins lake... I tried to execute a python script I found from Internet but it's not perfect I've got some errors... Is there a product to simplify the synchronization ? Elsewhere What is the best way to do it ? Thanks.

Hi all, I'm trying to get some Webalizer stats accessible from a Zope instance. The problem is FSDV transforms any .html .htm .dtml document (it just rips the extension). I don't know why it does that, nor how I could tell FSDV not to do it, but it's a little rude since Webalizer builds many html pages that are linked together according to their full names (name+ext). So the navigation from imported Webalizer pages into FSDV is broken. Also note that while it's possible to tell Webalizer to produce various extension names for the files it builds, I don't see how to tell him NOT to produce any. Anyone has an idea how to proceed ? Calling methods on products

Help! I have a Zcatalog in which I can add actors successfully. I can also add a product for serving sequential tokens. My intent is to use the tokens to id the actors in the actor constructor. My problem is that I don't know how to get the constructor to call the getToken() method on the token generator. I thought container.generator.getToken() should do it but I get a keyError saying non-existent 'generator.getToken'. The generator is subclassed from SimpleItem and also Acquisition.Implicit. Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong? TIA Richard Jennings

PlacelessTranslationService doesn't work with DTML method

Greetings, I uses Zope-2.6.2 + Plone-1.0.5 + PlacelessTranslationService-1.0a2 . PlacelessTranslationService fairly works with Plone translating tabs and slots into Japanese well. But when I created DTML method in a Plone site and displayed it, Plone tabs and slots are translated to '?????' instead of Japanese or English. PlacelessTranslationService doesn't work with DTML method in Plone site ? --- Chihiro Kuraya

Well, you go to "My Network Places" (Windows 2000 and up) and click "Add Network Place". Type in the HTTP://YOURZOPESERVER.COM and hit "Next" then "Finish". When you open up the network place, you'll see the files. If you try to enter a place where anonymous doesn't have access, it will ask you for a login and password. Reading and Saving files will also ask you for a login and password. Of course this is all assuming you have enabled webdav. There are also two webdav ports... Rendered and source. So, if you want to see the source (DTML source), you'll have to add a network place to HTTP://YOURZOPESERVER.COM:WEBDAVSOURCEPORT . Rendered is just fine for "file" content types. Note that if you add any new files, they will generally be of the "file" content type. DTML, in fact, may be too > powerful +1 I only use a tiny subset of DTML's capabilities, and farm out to Python for any serious computing. But that does not mean that DTML is useless. It is very good, but use it for its strengths, which are to format html output, and to orchestrate the sending of data to the actors that are well-suited to deal with it. For example, do not try to have a Python script create HTML for you. Instead, let it return, say, a Python list or dictionary, and have DTML produce the HTML from that - a perfect division of labor. Mozilla/NS does not support innerText, but it does have innerHTML, which may work. Mozilla has a bug that can mess up table display sometimes when you change cell contents (or at least cell visibility via CSS assignments), so you may have to do some testing. Also, I cannot recall whether Moz supports "all", but there are other ways to get to the bit you want to find if it does not - the prominent one being document.getElementById(), which works with IE as well. Using 2.3.2 for Zope 2.7
