Newbie - how to I access an object with rel path

Hello, My site is structured with folders. Some scripts are positioned in same directory. example: LoginScripts folder: checkSession checkUserName .... Hi again As Tino says, this is not about frames per se, but in a <frameset> you need to specify the framed pages. Therefore you need a reference and that should be done in the __init__.py. Or is there another possibility? Of course, the need to specify all references to pages and images in __init__.py is not convenient, particularly when you already have a database and need to recreate an instance of your product. Ok I'll look into the METAL stuff. I skimmed over it but it looked confusing and didn't seem to apply to my current problems. I guess it's time to give it another look-see. By the way, I checked my line and it does have the structure statement in. I misspoke when I said that the result comes out quoted. The header comes out looking beautiful. It's the rest of the document that gets quoted. If I change IS_YTD_Header with IS_Ptd_Header, the non-header part of the page comes out correct. The only difference is the IS_YTD_Header is a ZPT and IS_Ptd_Header is a DTML method. Can someone explain that??? DB Adaptor for Oracle

hello there, has anyone installed ZOPE on an oracle 9i? we are looking for db adaptor that works properly. I'm still having problems with pyperl installation

Im trying to install pyperl in my Zope Platform on Window 2000, but I'm still having some problems. I had to download a nmake.exe program from Internet because I didnt have one. ZMySQLDA installation on WinXP

Hi there! I have Zope 2.6.2, Python 2.3 and MySQL 4.0 running on a WinXP box. The installation of MySQL-python.exe-0.9.2.win32-py2.3 and ZMySQLDA-2.0.8 is not successful. Zope doesn't start with MySQL-python installed. You probably know the error message already: -------- ... ERROR(200) Zope Could not import Product.ZMySQLDA ..... File ....\db.py, line 89, in ? ImportError: No module named _mysql -------- .....PANIC(300) z2 Startup exception ..... File ....\db.py, line 89, in ? ImportError: No module named _mysql -------- I tried quiet a lot over the last two days to fix that problem, Registry editing and different versions of the products to be installed included, without success. Running out of ideas and steam now. _mysql.pyd is in the wrong place, the problem is certainly not new, so somebody hopefully knows how to solved it. Any kind of help is very much appreciated! Using Zope pooled connections from Python scripts

Hi I'm an experienced Python developer who's looking for a Python-compatible web engine for developing apps (rather than Apache/mod-python). I've played with Zope and it looks like it could well fit the bill :-) I have a question about pooled database connections. There's a connection object within Zope which is useable by ZSQL, which I take to be a pooled connection. I'd like to use this same pooled connection within a Python Script or Extension. Is this possible? I've tried, within a script, to assign conn=context.MyConnection which does return a connection object, but I can't create a cursor on this object. OLE DB under Zope

Hello Zopistas, I use M$ VFP as a backend database for Zope. Please don't start any flame wars on VFP, it's a old pc app migrated to zope. As time evolves I get more and more problems using the ODBC DA, because M$ lets ODBC die. In other words: There is ODBC driver is the same since 3 years and doesn't get updated. Is it possible to access databases as VFP through an OLE DB database adaptor? Regards Florian Reiser

Dear Sir I used Plone/Zope for manage the doccument for my company. my problem is that every time I request the URL it add the word Plone to my URL http://mywebsite/Plone/Plone/Plone/ How could I sold this problem? when I change the root Plone site ID to another ID it does not work. could you tell me how to change the Plone root site ID?
