I have a problem with cookies. For example I have this code: <dtml-if "REQUEST.has_key('myCookie')"> <dtml-var myCookie> <dtml-else> <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setCookie('myCookie', _.DateTime(), expires=_.DateTime()+1)"> <dtml-if> <dtml-var getCookie> where getCookie is a simply DTML Method like this: <dtml-if "REQUEST.has_key('myCookie')"> Ok cookie <dtml-var myCookie> <dtml-else> No cookie </dtml-if> Well, the result is this "No cookie". But the cookie have just been setted. Do anybody explain me this strange behavior? Strange behavior in folderish class

Howdy - I have a python product, with a simple class MyClass derived from Folder. It has a simple method myMethod with the following code: def myMethod(self): return self.id I have several nested instances of myClass on my site, but here is a simplest case: myClassInstanceA | |__myClassInstanceB I also have a simple template (zpt), with the following code: <span tal:content="here/myMethod"/> Here is the problem: when I go to http://mysite/myClassInstanceA/myClassInstaceB, the output of my zpt is always 'myClassInstanceA', where I would expect it to be 'myClassInstanceB'. What am I missing? Do I need to do more than just inherit from Folder class? Do I need anything special in my __init__ method? Thanks, Daniel.

The Zope superuser is not equivalent to the Unix "root" user. While logged in as superuser, create a user with Manager privileges. That's pretty much all the superuser does. Re-login as your Manager and see if that doesn't fix the problem. Problems with rights of a folder

Hello, My problem is, I accidentally canceled all authorisations to a folder. Currently I can´t open this folder, even when I´m logged as superuser. My question is, how can i log in again into this folder? Setting the same variable more than once using REQUEST.set

Thanks for your help. I've tried following your kind advice, and have had some problems. Hello, Yes, that's true, but my question was really concerning the Zserver. I have a Zope intranet system which act as a very simple 'web-archive': just zope+LocalFs. I don't want to have a complex setup. I would like to do all the job with Zope itself, that doesn't sounds to me like a unrealistic requirement, no? ZClass Propertysheets

Hello all, Once again I find myself stuck, hoping someone might help me out: I have created a ZClass and added a propertysheet. However, I am experiencing some problems when defining the separate properties: - When I define a property to be of type 'date' I cannot leave the "value" empty. Is this a bug or is there a specific reason for this? - When I want to add a selection, I added another property of type "lines" to hold the different selection items. However, I do not want this extra property with the lines to show up on my edit screen when I manage my objects. Is this possible? - When I have created a property I cannot seem to change its name. I have tried to find the answers in the available documentation but didn't find it. Can someone please help me out here or point me to some rtelevant information I might have missed?
