How can I access the headers an HTTP client sent in their request from within a Folder class. I can access the response headers in self.REQUEST.RESPONSE.headers. status of SOAP, XML-RPC and WebServices support in Zope2

Hello, due to pressing needs I need to know what the status of SOAP, XML-RPC and WebServices support in Zope2 are. Has anyone been able to do anything with Zope in this are? PROPFIND, Word, and Zope

Hi, Sometimes, when someone tries to open a Word document directly in Internet Explorer, a whole bunch of PROPFIND requests are sent to the server. As a result, Zope behaves erratically (stylesheets and pictures aren't sent to the client, external scripts return exceptions...). Is there a way to avoid this behavior? I have closed the WebDAV port, but these requests are sent to the default HTTP port. Configuration: RedHat Linux 8.0 Apache 1.3 with FastCGI Zope 2.5.1 Bert Vanderbauwhede... --- "When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the dragon... Replacing index_html with index.html

Hello everyone: I am trying to display "index.html" in a folder instead of index_html by default. This is what I put in my "index_html" in the root folder: <dtml-if index.html> <html> <head> <title>Redirection</title> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=&dtml-absolute_url;/index.html"> </head> <body> </body> </html> </dtml-if> It used to work just fine with Zope 2.3.3, but after upgrading to Zope 2.6.1 it fails with the message: Error Type: TypeError Error Value: __call__() takes exactly 2 arguments (1 given) Can anyone help? how to get the author of a modification ?

hi folks ! I'ld like to make a history of latest change on a web site. To do so I fetch the latest modified object using a catalog query on ModificationDate. The problem is that I'ld like to display the modification's author, which is not a property of the object. I guess that I need to find the transaction associated with the modification to get this information but I don't know how to do that... Version and lock

Hello everyone, is there any method (usable from script) to understand if a document is locked by a version or if a version is opened? I tried locked_in_version but it returns always true (it does not worry if the object is locked or not). So I need to visit our central office, log into linuxbox (it is not possible go ssh thru firewall) and make changes. If you use pound proxy, you could define virtual webs in Zope VHM only.
