deleting objects from DTML or scripts

I have been able to add DTML documents to a folder using a python script(addDTMLDocument) but I can't find anywhere how to delete them using python. I can delete using manage_delObjects:method from main.dtml but I would like to use a python script. Can anyone help me? regards garry

I have a DTML method which deletes a document from a folder, but everytime it does so it returns the user to the ZMI for that folder. How can i redirect it to show index_html instead of the folder contents for that folder. I am doing it this way because i can't work out a way to fire off a python script to do the same thing. Importing Custom Python Classes

How do you import your own python class modules into Zope? Here is what I've done: In lib/python/Products I created a directory called MyScriptModules which contains the following: First I import the required Modules: from Product.PythonScripts.Utility import allow_module, allow_class from AccessControl import ModuleSecurityInfo, ClassSecurityInfo from Globals import InitializeClass Then I add the security declarations: from ClassModule.ClassModule import Class1 allow_module('ClassModule.ClassModule') allow_class(Class1) I created a ClassModule directory in the Products directory and placed ClassModule.py class module in it. I then rebooted the Zope server. Now everytime I try this: from ClassModule.ClassModule import Class1 I get this error: import of ClassModule.ClassModule is unauthorized. I have read somewhere that in order to create new Products in Zope you have to meet some Zope API requirements like assigning certain class attributes. Is this true? If so where can I find some documentation? Is there a better way to import custom Python class modules than the way described above? Thanks in advance.

frames in Zope

Hello everyone! I'm comletely new to working with Zope and web sites in general. I hope my questions don't seem too stupid. I've written a navigation method something like this: <ul> <dtml-in expr="objectValues('Folder')"> <li><a href="&dtml-absolute_url;"><dtml-var title_or_id></a></li> </dtml-in> </ul> It works fine but whenever the default views of the folder contents are called they are displayed in the very same frame. What I wanna do is the following: If there are folders in one folder, I want them to be listed in one frame. And whenever the index_html method is called (wjich seems to happen automatically) I want its contents to appear in a different frame. Can I call a method in DTML and assign a target frame? like: <dtml-var index_html> target=frame ... ???? I'd be very thankful for any help! Thank you very much!!! Mareike

Best Event system for Zope?

Hi all, I need an Event system for my latest project and have looked at EventChannel (http://www.zope.org/Members/k_vertigo/Products/EventChannel) and although it seems like exactly what I need, it seems like the project is dormant (last change 2002). Is there a "best of breed" event system for Zope that I can use? Thanks Etienne PS. My requirements is to be able to have a Zope object register to be notified when certain (user defined) events occur. I'm not looking for an events calendar type of product!

Problem using ExternalFile with METAL macro

I'm unable to get ExternalFile to work with macros within page templates and I'm hoping that some of you have solved this problem. I'm a newbie to Zope, so it's quite possible it's my error, but I've been struggling with this for a while & haven't been able to find anything online about my problem. I have an ExternalFile set to behave like a page template called index_html and it calls a macro, m1, in another ExternalFile, mac1, which is also set to behave like a pt.
