Tokenbased Filelist
by Frank Simon 13 Feb '02

13 Feb '02

Hi folks, How do I display a sorted list of files based on tokens? I extended the properties of some files like this: Name: Category, Value: A B C, Type: tokens Name: Comment, Value: some text, Type: text How do I display just the files that have token A and their comment? Also, is there a way to have this list displayed in any given subdirectory without actually moving the files there? Appreciate you help. TAL - authentication
by Tom Nixon 13 Feb '02

13 Feb '02

I want to have a with a tal:condition clause that means it's only displayed if there is an authenticated user logged in, or alternatively if the user has particular privileges. In DTML it would be something like the following but I'm not sure about how to do it in TAL. <dtml-if expr="_.SecurityCheckPermission('Add Documents, Images, and Files', this())"> Hello authorised user </dtml-if> I assume something like this: T.

2.5 upgrade, Sessions - too clever for myself
by Brad Clements 13 Feb '02

13 Feb '02

Rather than doing the 2.5 Session upgrade work-around, I thought I'd be smart and delete the session_data_manager before restarting Zope (after changing start to use zope-2.5 pythonhome rather than Zope-2.5b3) No I keep getting AttributeError on request.SESSION.getSessionData() Seems the SESSION object doesn't have this method anymore. However if I create a new session_data_manager lower in the tree, and point that at a new transient object container in /temp_folder, then it works again. However if I restart zope, the transient object I created disappears. Seems to be a problem in /temp_folder/session_data, except that even if I create a new transient object /temp_folder/mysession and point the root session_data_manager object at it, I still get attributeError on getSessionData(0 Anyone have any ideas? Or do I need to go to a backup? Brad Clements, bkc(a)murkworks.com (315)268-1000 http://www.murkworks.com (315)268-9812 Fax netmeeting: ils://ils.murkworks.com AOL-IM: BKClements

IBM DB2/CLI Database Adapter
by Robin Smidsrod 13 Feb '02

Anybody know about the current status of this DA? I'm currently locked into using Perl ZDBI_DA to get access to a DB2 datasource. I've had some problems with connections being reset and the DBI_DA lacks a table browser. Any information would be appreciated. -- Robin

However, http://127.0.0.1 itself is reacting very fast, less than a second. http://127.0.0.1/manage takes exactly 24 seconds see the authentication popup.
