Carlos, Please keep discussions on the mailing list. Carlos Alberto Micucci wrote: > > Thanks. But, How you connect an ZOPE object like DTML > method with .jar? Sorry, but that question doesn't really make any sense. What are you actually trying to achieve? > Are you using an applet HTML tag? or > XML-RPC or ...? As it happens, I wrote an external method which used JPE's java.importClass method to import the java classes I wanted to use. These were instantiated in the external method and used as needed. cheers, Chris

I need something like this: <dtml-in "objectValues('my Object')> <tr> <td><dtml-var expr="getProperty('firstProp)"></td> <td><dtml-var expr="nextItem.getProperty('firstProp)"></td> </tr><tr> <td><dtml-var expr="getProperty('secondProp)"></td> <td><dtml-var expr="nextItem.getProperty('secondProp)"></td> </tr> </dtml-in> and my table should look like: ----------------------------------- | 1.item - 1.prop |2.item - 1.prop | ----------------------------------- | 1.item - 2.prop |2.item - 2.prop | ----------------------------------- | 3.item - 1.prop |4.item - 1.prop | ----------------------------------- | 3.item - 2.prop |4.item - 2.prop | ----------------------------------- using only sequence-even or sequence-odd i'll get trouble with the rows. peter ----- d e n s X L -------------------- medien konzepte design --- peter walerowski tel: +49(0)30 218 055 53 nehringstr. 16 fax: +49(0)30 326 050 89 14059 berlin mobil: +49(0)179 47 843 47 ------------------------------------------------ www.densxl.de --- -- berlin.de - meine stadt im netz. how to iterate through two sequence items
by Peter Walerowski 08 Feb '02

hello all, sorry, forgot the subject. my problem might be simple, but I can't find the solution: I can iterate through a sequence - let's say a folder content - and display the items in a table, but I can't figure out how to display the table in two columns. <dtml-in myFolderContent> <tr><td><dtml-var folderItem></td></tr> </dtml-in> will print the dates in a single column, but how can I iterate through and refer to a second item in one <dtml-in> pass. somthing like <dtml-in myFolderContent> <tr><td><dtml-var folderItem></td> <td><dtml-var folderItem[nextIndex]></td></tr> </dtml-in> ??? My table should look like this: ----------------------- | 1. item | 2. item | | 3. item | 4. item | | ... | ... | ----------------------- Thanks for help ----- d e n s X L -------------------- medien konzepte design --- peter walerowski tel: +49(0)30 218 055 53 nehringstr. 16 fax: +49(0)30 326 050 89 14059 berlin mobil: +49(0)179 47 843 47 ------------------------------------------------ www.densxl.de --- -- berlin.de - meine stadt im netz. You could use sequence-even and sequence-odd. e.g. <dtml-in myFolderContent> <dtml-if sequence_odd> <tr><td><dtml-var folderItem></td> <dtml-else> <td><dtml-var folderItem></td></tr> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> Neil ********************************************************************** The information contained in this e-mail is confidential and intended only for the use of the addressee.
