Has anyone out there combined Port25's PowerMTA and zope through the PowerMTA API? Getting the two systems to work together via SMTP calls is easily doable, however, I was hoping to achieve greater efficiencies through the API. Any input would be appreciated. Garry Galinsky garry(a)galinsky.net

We're using IE's built-in HTML Editor that we have embedded into the Zope Management Interface. mirror to non-zope site?

Is there any way to mirror zope content to a non-zope directory? Specifically, I have a directory of content which I would like to mirror on sourceforge. They don't have zope there, but I do have zope here. If the content was static then rsync would work. It looks like I might be able to do something with wget, but since it will grab the whole site every time instead of synchronizing, I'm not thrilled. Is there a better way? setting up standalone server

Zope, I have some questions about setting up a stand alone zope server. How do I bind it to the right IP address. Dear Arian, I had exactly the same problem you had in the message you posted in Decembre. how to enable Large File Support with 2.5 release?

Since zope 2.5 comes with Python, it seems appropriate that an option to enable LFS be provided, eh? I've been digging around and can't figure out where to get this going, since the python.org instructions (section 8.1.1), which are tentative at best anyhow, point to a 'configure' file which isn't present... help!!

problem with python script

I am having a horrible time with a python script. The idea is to get a dollars-and-cents formatted string from the 3.87987234233e-1234 type string that the Sybase server is returning. The python script looks like this: --- final = (float(int(float(number[0:10]) * 100)) / 100) return final --- with one parameter (number) when I call it with either: <dtml-call expr="numberTrim(number=cur_bal)"> or <dtml-var expr="numberTrim(number=cur_bal)"> I get: Error Type: TypeError Error Value: unsliceable object if I use the "test" at the top and enter a value it works fine and if I hard code a value it works as well. The only time it WON'T work is when it's called with the cur_bal variable. Has anybody ran into this before? Thanks, Rick

I use the fpformat module. The fpformat module is a standard python module, but you have to import it into Zope. To do that, I created a subdirectory called "MyModules" in my /lib/python/Products subdirectory and placed the fpformat.py file in there along with an __init__.py script that includes: allow_module('fpformat') ModuleSecurityInfo('fpformat').declarePublic('fix') Once you've done that, then you can use the following code in your python script to format the float variables: fpformat.fix(my_float_variable, 2) Hope that helps, Ron > I am having a horrible time with a python script. I know I've seen this answered a billion times but I can't find it in the archives. If I have an image named "picture" in a folder named "images" how do I call it? <dtml-var images/picture> and <dtml-var images\picture> don't work. I can't even find an answer to this in the Zope book. It's driving me nuts! TIA Rick
