RESPONSE title
by Jesper Holmberg 10 Dec '01

10 Dec '01

I have a method that I'd like to return an xml-file as RESPONSE. The name of the method is manage_saveAction. I've tried to do this: content = myDocument.toxml() RESPONSE.setHeader('Content-Type', 'text/xml') RESPONSE.setHeader('Title', "file1.xml") return content This works well, the content of the returned file is good, but the name of the response is "manage_saveaction", not "file1.xml". So I guess there is a problem with the third line, but I can't find it. Does anyone know what has to be done? TIA, Jesper -- Jesper Holmberg |"But how can | jesper.holmberg(a)enst-bretagne.fr | one be warm | ENST Br, BP 832, 29285 Brest, FRANCE | alone?" |

Zope stops responding...
by Richard Jones 10 Dec '01

10 Dec '01

We have a peculiar case that our Zope server just stops responding after about a week, and the server gets about 50,000 hits a day. It's not using any CPU, and it's not running out of memory. It accepts connections, but doesn't follow through by returning any results. Sorry, we don't have any netstat info - we'll capture that next time it happens. Anyone have any ideas? Anywhere we can look in medusa to figure what it's doing? Richard

ZCatalog: Problems w/ certain words
by Niclas Kuehne 10 Dec '01

10 Dec '01

I use ZCatalog for indexing and searching documents within Zope. Queries for certain words like: ftp, en, es, ge always return a Zope error message. Is there some language issue (en, es, ge, fr are all abbreviations for languages)? If I query for fr:someword for example, it return the results without any error message. Is this a feature or a bug? What about the term ftp? I use the following dtml-code for the queries (only the important lines): <form name="suche" action="/Navigation/Suche/suchen" method="get"> <input type="hidden" name=textindex_operator value='and'> <input maxlength=50 name='PrincipiaSearchSource' value=""> <dtml-in Catalog size=batchsize start=query_start> <a href="&dtml-absolute_url;"><dtml-var title></a> <dtml-var bobobase_modification_time fmt="day"> </dtml-in> There is more to it but this is just the main lines of the source file. This is the error message I get: ============================================================ Fehler Typ: KeyError Fehler Inhalt: 0 Vorschläge zum Beheben des Fehlers: Diese Seite verweist evtl. auf fehlende Komponenten.0. by Tille, Andreas 10 Dec '01

Hello, I wonder if I did not read carefully the docs but I have not found a clue, how to access the properties like 'id', 'title' and potentially others from the folder my DTMLDocument or a self written product (in Python code). Any ideas / examples how to do that? Kind regards Andreas.

zope 'hangs'
by Stephan Herschel 10 Dec '01

10 Dec '01

Hello, We have got a funny problem in Zope: if user A issues a long-running query user B also has to wait in the meantime - zope just waits for A's query to finish. We are using interbase as our database and GV Interbase Database Adapter 0.9.6 on a linux system. In the README it says 'threadsafety ... is set to 1 - threads may share the module but not connections' Somehow i suspect the problem lies there. Can anyone give me a hint on this problem? Thanks in advance, Stephan

e: [Zope] using mysql LOAD command to store values into table from zopemgt screen (is it realistics?)
by hamzatk＠3dresearch.com 10 Dec '01

Hello Nitin, Please I need your utmost support to get this done. First and foremost i am new to php, infact i have never lay my hands on it before. Please how do i get this done. I wouldn't mind if you can tell me in a layman's lang. Then my situation is that i have limited access to the Mysqlserver at the remote site. . where do i get PhpMyadmin? I am desperate to get this done. Bcos I have wasted alot of time trying to get it solved. What i was actually looking for was to use SSh (through telnet) then my host is not ready to give me that kind of priviledge. I wiil be glad if you can put me through. or is it possible to achieve this from zope mgt interface through mysql methods or python script. I expect the LOAD command to work at ZMI since it is one of the MySQL command just like INSERT command. Best Regards.
