Hi! Let's say I have this structure: /folderA/folderB /folderC/folderD /objectA Is there any way (maybe using __of__()) I can make this into /folderC/folderA/objectA as far as the acquisition path is conserned?

Try http://your.server/Control_Panel/manage_shutdown If the user is authenticated. Troy -----Original Message----- From: Carlos A. It would be a / folder manager (authenticated, of course). I know that (s)he can travel to the control panel but I'd like to have the possibility to shutdown elsewhere. Is this possible? Thanks Tim -- Sorry about the lack of a subject line. IT4School looks pretty cool, but isn't quite it -- I'm really looking more at the corporate elearning market. Preferably something that has some SCORM, IMS, or other standard support built in. I'll take a look at ZECF though . . . -----Original Message----- From: Timothy Wilson [mailto:wilson@visi.com] Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2001 11:42 AM To: Caulfield, Michael Cc: 'zope(a)zope.org' Subject: Re: [Zope] (no subject) On Thu, 26 Jul 2001, Caulfield, Michael wrote: > I am considering writing a small bare bones Learning Management System in > Zope. List of Error Tyrpes
by Tommy Johnson 26 Jul '01

26 Jul '01

Hey all, I'm looking for a list of error types. In particular, I'm trying to find an error type that pertains to an empty sequence list. My app runs great when searching for names within a list, but let's say a user tries to find all names that start with 'Z'. Currently, there aren't any names that fit that search criteria. So, I have everything wrapped in a dtml-try. But the error_type that is returned is TypeError. The error_value is loop over non-sequence My question - there probably are other errors that fall under the TypeError error_type. I just want an error_type that is specific to this one particular error. So finding a list of available error_types would help me greatly. Unless, of course, someone just gives me the answer - but that wouldn't be too helpful in the future. Give a man a fish, and it will feed him for a day... Re: [Zope] ZstoredProcedure help!

Hello Richardo, Hello Zopers, Advanced Oracle Zopers, - there is a promise in the help system that ZSqlMethod can contain multiple statements - I would be interested to know how to get both DDL statements below into one ZSqlMethod - I would be interested to know why broken DDL causes Zope 2.2.3 to: - write "ORA-00000: normal, successful completion" on its controlling terminal - apparently restart Richardo: The pragma is a declaration that the package body won't do anything to break the select statement at the end. There's one other option, rnds, for "Read No Database State". I trust you have Oracle documentation and can tailor it to your requirements. Regards, J. Cone. Create the following, eg in scott/tiger: ---------------------- create or replace PACKAGE test_pkg IS PROCEDURE conta_reg; function conta_reg_fn return number; pragma restrict_references (conta_reg_fn, wnds, wnps, rnps); END; / create or replace PACKAGE BODY TEST_PKG IS PROCEDURE conta_reg IS total NUMBER; BEGIN SELECT COUNT(*) INTO total FROM scott.dept; END; function conta_reg_fn return number IS total NUMBER; BEGIN SELECT COUNT(*) INTO total FROM scott.dept; return total; END; END; / ---------------- Do the following in a ZSqlMethod: -------------------- select test_pkg.conta_reg_fn from dual -------------------- Get the following result: Z SQL Method at /longRaw/get_fn_result Help! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- CONTA REG FN 4.0 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- SQL used: select test_pkg.conta_reg_fn from dual At 17:55 26/07/01 +0100, Ricardo Seghizzi wrote: >Hi J. I have a problem upgrading. Because of dependencies in a costom made (for the company i work for) product I have to use the old PythonMethod-0.1.7 - product. When I start the service I get the following to my console: <screendump> [zoperunner@yb Zope-2.4.0-linux2-x86]$ ./start & [1] 7361 [zoperunner@yb Zope-2.4.0-linux2-x86]$ /opt/Zope-2.4.0-linux2-x86/lib/python/Pro ducts/PythonMethod/zbytecodehacks/closure.py:121: SyntaxWarning: local name 'n' in 'make_adder' shadows use of 'n' as global in nested scope 'adder' def make_adder(n): ------ 2001-07-24T10:11:33 PROBLEM(100) Init Ambiguous name for method of Products.Pyth onMethod.PythonMethod.PythonMethod: "manage" != "manage_main" [zoperunner@yb Zope-2.4.0-linux2-x86]$ ------ 2001-07-24T10:11:37 INFO(0) ZServer HTTP server started at Tue Jul 24 12:11:37 2 001 Hostname: yb.magnus.dk Port: 8080 ------ 2001-07-24T10:11:37 INFO(0) ZServer FTP server started at Tue Jul 24 12:11:37 20 01 Hostname: yb.magnus.dk Port: 8021 ------ 2001-07-24T10:11:37 INFO(0) ZServer PCGI Server started at Tue Jul 24 12:11:37 2 001 Unix socket: /opt/Zope-2.4.0-linux2-x86/var/pcgi.soc </screendump> The question is: How do I make certain that this problem does not occur? All my stuff seems to work, but I would be a more happy man if there were no errors like that when I start the service.

by ricardo＠cnbe.mar.org.uk 26 Jul '01

Hi everyone I am having very strange problems installing DOracleDA. I have Zope 2.3.2 and OracleDA in my machine Win2000 and it is working fine. I have installed zope 2.3.3 and OracleDA for NT Beta 3 in a new server. Zope installed well but OracleDA is broken as a product. I have tried everything but I could not put it to work. So I installed zope 2.3.2 and copy OracleDA from my machine to the server and It didn't work. As a last try I copied my zope website totaly from my machine to the server the I restarted zope. The site is clonned in the new server but the OracleDA is still broken. I collegue that works with me installed zope 2.4.0 and Oracle DA for NT Beta 3 a could not have it working either. Have you got an ideia of what cam be wrong? Many thanks , Ricardo
