However, I did try SiteRoot and whatever it did, it caused the Zope management interface to become unaccessable (both from Apache and 8080). Hmm ? BTW -- I am running the latest stable Zope (2.3.3 ?) on FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE via the port and it uses Python 2.0. My current httpd.conf file has to following Zope related configuration: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/Zope$ /Zope/ [R] RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*) RewriteRule ^/Zope/(.*) /usr/local/www/cgi-bin.default/Zope.cgi/$1 [env=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,l] <Directory /usr/local/www/cgi-bin.default> Options +ExecCGI </Directory> Tom Veldhouse veldy(a)veldy.net

ZSQLMethod sqltest with like and %
by Neil Burnett 19 Jul '01

19 Jul '01

Hi I had trouble with getting this: select * from qryPerson where Surname like '%urnet%' (where I had given urnet as the search text.) The following works, and as I couldn't find a solution in the docs or mailing list, I thought I'd post it here for others as dumb as me to see:-) <dtml-let Surname="'%' + Surname + '%'"> select * from qryPerson where <dtml-sqltest Surname op=like type=string> </dtml-let> Mind you, I can't help thinking that the op=eq should be clever enough to use 'like' when a string contains wildcards. Regards Neil PS Note for database gurus: Yes, I know that searching with a wild card in front negates my column index.

File upload - form doesn't empty the "file" field
by Gitte Wange 19 Jul '01

19 Jul '01

Hello, I know this might be a HTML question but I'm not very experienced in file uploads. So please bear with me. I have created a form which - among other - uploads a file to the filesystem. That works. But when I go back to the upload page, updates some attributes and submit the data, the data that comes back contains the file that I uploaded the last time. The file attribute of the request isn't being emty. Do I have to set VALUE="" at the input field ??? Anyone with a good idea ? Regards,

OpenFlow workflow engine
by Vincenzo Di Somma 19 Jul '01

19 Jul '01

Icube is pleased to announce the availability of OpenFlow http://www.zope.org/Members/vds/OpenFlow, the open source workflow engine. Openflow includes the ability to specify multiple maps of activities, support for conditional splits and parallel executions. Each activity can be implemented using every Zope object. A web based management interface completes the engine itself. -- Vincenzo Di Somma - Responsabile Ricerca e Sviluppo - Icube S.r.l. Web Based HTML Editor
by cblesius＠ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de 19 Jul '01

19 Jul '01

I am looking for a web based html editor for our content providers that I can slightly modify so that it will post to zope (structured text does not cut it). Something like http://sourceforge.net/projects/richtext/ that works with other browsers and browser versions (not just IE 5.5). Maybe Java based? I know someone must have something like this running. My dream: A button that appears according to authenticated role... (WWW_HTML_Edit). It would be a killer feature. Carl
