Where should i modify the redundant record message screen?

When i key in the duplicate record ZOPE tell me the record is redundant just as below, actually i wanna modify this screen but i dunnno where should i do this. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank You very much!!!!

Ok, I've looked for this in documentation, but couln't find it. Also, I have tried a number of variing syntaxes, but to no avail. What I'm trying to do is code a DTML if statement that tests two conditions: <dtml-if this && that> Do this </dtml-if> Actually, I want to do this in an <dtml-unless>, so I guess whatever the syntax is, it will be the same for both (if's and unless) Anyone out there that knows this syntax? Oracle 7.x Connection under linux

I would like to access an oracle 7.x through a Zope installation on linux. However there do not seem to be oracle 7.x libraries for Linux. When using the oracle 8 client I am able to do SELECTs from a table but on inserts or updates I recieve oracle errors like "variable not in select list" or "fetch out of sequence". Newbie Acquisition Question

Hi, I've just got a quick question on acquisition... In my root folder, I have my index_html which contains, amongst other things: <td colspan="2"> <dtml-var contentPanel> </td> In the root folder, I have another DTML method called contentPanel, which is correctly displayed when I view the root folder. Now, under the root folder, I have the following folder structure: / `SiteUsers/ `Dan/ SiteUsers is empty, except for Dan; Dan contains a single DTML Method called contentPane. When I view localhost:8080/SiteUsers/Dan/ I would expect the contentPane from SiteUsers/Dan to be displayed (ie. index_html is being acquired by the Dan folder, but since there is a contentPanel in the Dan folder, that should 'override' the one in the root folder). However, I am getting the contentPane from the root folder. This is a namespace issue - how do I force Zope to use the correct namespace? My understanding was that all name resolution started at the place specified from the URL, and then worked back 'up' the tree... My experience here shows this is true, but the search URL always 'starts' from the object 'doing' the acquisition (index_html in this case) - hence the contentPane in Dan/ isn't being used. authorisation problems

Hi, after upgrading to Zope 2.3.1 (, MySQL-python-0.3.5, ZMySQLDA 2.0.6., mysql 3.22.32) I discovered the followin behaviour: In the beginning all folders are visible and accessible to the manager in the management screens. There are some folders which I think are equally handled, but if I try to view them I get an authorisation prompt (altough already logged in as a manager!). Almost certainly there is an updater for Ultradev (there is for DW4 at ay rate) which fixes precisely this problem. There remains an issue with first time create of objects via webdav which I hope may be ixed in the new zope version but I haven't tried it yet .... N.

Unable to authenticate with WebDAV server

Hello, I just got Macromedia UltraDev4 and have set up a WebDav, I can read all the files on the ZODB, but I am unable to write to it. I get the following error Unable to authenticate with WebDAV server. I suppose the WebDAV server must be set in the Application Server site definition properties. But how to do that so that it reads ZServer, I don't know. Also I have added in the Extensions.txt file _DTML, DTML extensions so that it can be recognised by UltraDev, whicxh it does. BUT most of the products, don't have extensions, therefore UltraDev does not know how to read them. Dunigan and Sedat, Thanks for your replies. I was thinking along the lines of Sedat's method, but wasn't sure how to do it - thanks for the example! The XML-RPC does seem to be the solution of the future, and since I want to send XML to the other Zope, this may be the answer I was looking for. Thanks again! Etienne
