Perhaps offtopic... Downloaded archive mailboxes (for individual months) http://lists.zope.org/pipermail/zope/. Put them into Netscape messenger folder. Works nicely but each message appears twice. Any hints? Except downloading the whole raw archive in MBOX format :-) 98MB is quite a lot, and makes no sense to download larger and larger archive each month... DTML documents as properties of python product classes

Greetings Zope folks. I am a bit of a newbie here and am attempting to use a DTML document as a property of a class of a python product. To do so, I have done the following (using the TutorialPoll as my example): #...snip vote_results = Globals.HTMLFile("vote_results", globals()) def castVote(self, choice): "Votes for a choice" vote_count = self.getVotesFor(choice) self._votes[choice] = vote_count + 1 return self.vote_results #the rest of my class Upon restarting Zope, I get "(This object from the TutorialPoll product is broken!)" next to my object in the management interface. need help - python problem

I am writing a program that would allow me to send email with attachments. The code works, however instead of attachments I get the actual contects of the attachments. DTML Documents in subfolders

Hi there ! I'm trying to accessing an dtml Document in a subfolder, passing the id through an DTML Method ! The idea is to call a DTML Document (in a sub folder ) using a DTML Method passing the ID as argument to the method. I have used PARENTS[0].subfolder.'id' unsuccesfully thanks and best regards Nuno

Why require "Manager" for changing Z SQL Method?

I'm using Zope 2.3.0 and ZOracleDA 2.2.0b1. Users are starting to take advantage of the Oracle connections, but have been frustrated because they are unable to change Z SQL Methods. (They just keep creating new ones.) I think I've determined that a user *must* have "Manager" role in order to edit a Z SQL Method. The setting of "Change Database Method" doesn't seem to matter. I even gave it to Anonymous and it wouldn't go. Does someone have a quicky patch/kludge to get around this for awhile? It's not immediately obvious to me how to bypass it. Thanks. --kyler

Are you sure? I cannot believe that! Anyway, the management interface itself uses: <dtml-in propertyMap mapping> You may look at its source in "OFS/dtml/properties.dtml" to see how it is used. Error when installing LoginManager

I am trying to Install Login Manager under Zope 2.3 and in the Management Control Panel under LoginManager I am getting this: Traceback (innermost last): File "/home/zopeadmin/zope/lib/python/OFS/Application.py", line 530, in import_products product=__import__(pname, global_dict, global_dict, silly) File "/home/zopeadmin/zope/lib/python/Products/LoginManager/__init__.py", line 1, in ? import LoginManager, LoginMethods, UserSources File "/home/zopeadmin/zope/lib/python/Products/LoginManager/LoginManager.py", line 121, in ? raise 'InstallError', ( InstallError: No access file found at /home/zopeadmin/zope - see INSTALL.txt I searched through the archives and all I could see on how to fix this program was running python zpasswd.py to create my "access" file. I have already done this and I am still getting the same error. Has anyone seen this or know of a resolution that I am somehow missing? Thanks
