zope class structure

Hi! Has anyone tried to generate Zope class structure documentation with pythondoc or similar tool? I tried to use pythondoc 0.4 without any success. It would be mutch easyer to learn Zope API programming with that kind of docs comapred to reading python source. Currently afaik only ZODB docs are available (as UML). manage_editProperties in ZClasses

hi all, how do i change the default value of textarea (cols) from 35 to something else? i edited Property.py in lib/python/ZClasses, changing line 199 -- <textarea name="%s:text" rows="6" cols="75"><dtml-var %s ></textarea>''' saved it, restart zope and tried changing my ZClass property. biut i still got the cols=35. what did i miss? tia ------------------------------------------------------ http://www.kedai.com.my/kk Am I Evil?

Rename non-funtional

Uhhhhmmmm ... after repeated trys (closing browser, sevrer restart, etc) I am unable to rename _anything_. It returns the page telling me to select something first, and yes, I did select stuff. 2.1.0 is the only change I've made ... Getting properties in Python Methods

Hello, If I have a Python Method in a folder, and the Python Method has a list of strings which are the names of objects in that folder of the type Profile (a ZClass), and I know that each of these objects has a property called profile_name, how do I get the value for that property for each object in the list? David, It's certainly possible to run more than one instance of Zope on a single machine. The easiest way to do this may to be to use the source Zope release and to untar it into a totally separate directory from your existing Zope install. Compile it then edit the z2.py script and change the HTTP_PORT, FTP_PORT, and MONITOR_PORT fields. This is assuming you just want to use ZServer and don't care to use PCGI or FastCGI with another webserver. > -----Original Message----- > From: David S. Instead of using a DTML Method for index_html, use a DTML Document (which has properties of its own). standard_html_header difficulties

What I want to do seems like it should be simple, but from my newbie/non-Zen/still-confused-by-acquisition perspective I am stumped. I have a standard_html_header in / folder : <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>  </TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> In the /mse250 folder, I have a method index_html with title="The MSE250 Homepage" as follows :  <H2></H2> blah, blah, blah .... What I want to do is have my standard_html_header file use  (i.e. "The MSE250 Homepage") instead of the root folder  (i.e. MSE250) between the <TITLE> </TITLE> tags.
