Formatting Query Strings

I have seen the answer to this before, but I can't seem to find it now. (Mailing list search is down.) I am generating a URL for a link as follows: http://servername/file?name=<dtml-var name>&id=<dtml-var id> Now if the name is 'Bob' this works fine, but if the name is 'Bob Johnson' the space breaks it. WebDav & IE5 webfolders

Hi All, Does anyone know how to use Internet Explorer 5 Webfolders with Zope? I can see all the objects in Zope when I create a WebFolder and use my authenicated logon but, get an error when I try to post a document to a folder. WebFolders seems to want to have FrontPage extensions installed on the server. Is there a simple configuration option to allow the Zope WebDAV server to support WebFolders? Thanks for any leads. Brilliant! Doesn't work with sequence-item, but with sequence-key it works perfectly. Saves me having to hack around it by setting a duplicate_id property at the same time as I set the id -- which is what I was doing. Many, many thanks. David

One more question: what about security? At this moment the SessionUID cookie is unencrypted and this is not very safe... or is this cookie tied up to Zope session? It is possible for someone else to tap into another person's session? images & mess with editors

Hi everyone, Two part question: 1) Is there any way to FTP a large batch of images up at a time (with the default being the file name as when you import only one image and use that default) 2) Has anyone else gotten extremely frustrated when non-Zope people give you html files (written in Frontpage and other WYSIWYG editors) that produce godawful code that usually needs total rehash. Perhaps, this is not directly related to Zope, but I find that the downtime I spend fixing other people's code before I can get back to fun stuff (ie Zope) is quite a lot. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA, Tom
