This is very odd. I'm willing to look at this. I'm certainly interested in seeing data files that fsrecover doesn't work on, so that I can make it work better. I've heard of a case like this before. fsrecover only works on bad transaction records, not bad data records. I've seen one or two cases where data records were damaged but transaction records weren't, but I've never had an actual data.fs file with this problem to look at. I actually worked up a patch at one point, but was uncomfortable incoporating it without test data. It would probably be a good idea to give me a login (ssh) to a machine where the data file is, rather than trying to send it to me. Alternatively, you could put a compressed copy on a CD and FedEx it to me to look at tomorrow. Obviously, I need the original corrupted file. Do you have a backup? There are certainly some hardware failures that will render the file unusable. This is true for all databases. Authentication Problem

Hello I have a slight problem with the software. I use Suse 7.2, and have installed Zope using Yast2, so I didn't compile it myself... I set up an initial username and password using the following... ./zpasswd inituser It seems to accept it. When I go to http://localhost:8080; and I try to log on, it never accepts my username/password. I didn't know if there was a conflict with Apache since Zope loads ZServer, so I stopped the Apache service. So I can only access port 8080. It still doesn't accept it. What shall I do? Can't use 'document_src' in python script - any alternatives?

Hi all, This is a rehash of a XXX-PythonMethod (remember them!) I had this at the top of my original XXX-PythonMethod import DocumentTemplate savedir = self.savedir template_str = self.template.read_raw() template = DocumentTemplate.HTML(template_str) ...and further on... theresult = template(self, results=results, identifier=identifier) return theresult (ie it gets a DTML method called 'template' and then fills in the <dtml-var results> and <dtml-var identifier> areas to create a filled-in document) But the PythonScript complained a bit, so I changed it to import DocumentTemplate self = context REQUEST = self.REQUEST savedir = self.savedir # template_str = self.template.read_raw() template_str = self.template.document_src() template = DocumentTemplate.HTML(template_str) But it still doesn't want to let me touch document_src (it also complained about read_raw). Is there a better way of doing this using PythonScripts and the like? I'm not sure what the right answer is, but I've also been bitten by this - and it's a bitch to fix when it hits you. Trouble with ZSQL method

Hello, all. Apologies in advance for the long lines in the error message. I'm running Solaris 7, Zope 2.3.3, MySQL 3.23.28-gamma, ZMySQLDA 2.0.7, and MySQLdb 0.9.0.
