Need help with Job Board Howto Examples

I've put it together, and followed all the steps, but anonymous users can't add entries. But then again, neither can I, even when I enter my username and password. I get an error about permissions, but I seem to have solved that through the security tab in the entries folder. Now I get an error about a floating point value missing. What does this error really mean? Or, if it's truly that there is such a value missing, how do I find out where it's missing from? Thanks for your help! Security Assertions Problem

Hi all, I have a python script (see below) which returns a list of the parents of an object so that I can build a breadcrumbs trail across the top of my page. This works fine - except when adding an instance of any of my ZClasses using http://myserver.com/EMDB/Groups/Group_20/Project_35/Labnotebook/manage_addPr oduct/EMDB/Labnotebook_factory I get the following error message: Error type: Unauthorized Error value: Access denied for 'EM Database' because its container, /EMDB/Groups/Group_20/Project_35/Labnotebook, has no security assertions. If I try to add without the breadcrumbs in my standard html header - it works fine Can anyone help me out here? RFC - do you think the upcoming renamed permissions [1] should be:: Add ZWiki Pages Add ZWiki Webs Zwiki: Add comments to wiki pages Zwiki: Change wiki page types Zwiki: Change wiki page content Zwiki: Reparent wiki pages Zwiki: Recycle wiki pages or:: Add ZWiki Pages Add ZWiki Webs Zwiki: Add a comment Zwiki: Change page type Zwiki: Edit this page Zwiki: Reparent page Zwiki: Recycle page or something else ? HI I'd like to put a % sign before and after the values of the form variables with a loop and keep the changed form varibles in the REQUEST object. How can it be? Halinux

[zwiki] request for testers

I just checked in:: use a 'subscribers_list' list property instead of the 'subscribers' property, and convert old instances on the fly. This needs more testing. Also update the folder's _properties so folder subscribers appear in the ZMI. I believe this is working now, but I would appreciate feedback from test pilots before next release. Here's how: As always, save a copy of your data.fs just in case. Create a couple of dummy wiki & page subscribers if you don't have any. Then restart with the latest cvs zwiki (refresh may work in this case, I'm not sure). As you visit pages you should see the same page and wiki subscribers on the subscribe form that you had before. And in the ZMI you should see a subscriber_list lines property replacing the subscribers string property, with the proper subscriber addresses listed one per line. And, in the hope of reaching the people affected: before getting this right I overwrote a couple of subscriptions on zwiki.org. If you were subscribed to a page other than GeneralDiscussion, you'll need to resubscribe. Sorry about that. Thanks, -Simon

You should use meta_type for checking what kind of object you have. Content-type is used by files and images for storing what kind of file or image the object holds. There is a Python tutorial at www.python.org Also, many excellent books, f ex from O'Reilly Press: http://www.oreilly.com/ For meta_types and Zope stuff you have the Zope book here: http://www.zope.org/Members/michel/ZB There is also a lot of Python code on the net that you can read in order to learn Python.
