Hi, I'm trying to insert a value which is computed using python into a table. The python script looks as follows: - import string return((string.atof(QuantityA) * string.atof(WeightA)) + (string.atof(QuantityB) * string.atof(WeightB)) + (string.atof(QuantityC) * string.atof(WeightC)) + (string.atof(QuantityD) * string.atof(WeightD))) The sql query to insert this value into the table is as shown below: - [Arguments : QuantityA, QuantityB, QuantityC, QuantityD] insert into table (Net_Weight) VALUES (<dtml-in sqlGetSackWeight><dtml-var expr="pyCalculateSackWeight(QuantityA, WeightA, QuantityB, WeightB, QuantityC, WeightC, QuantityD, WeightD)"></dtml-in>) The sqlGetSackWeight is another sql query to retrieve the value of WeightA, WeightB, WeightC and WeightD which is stored in a separate table. These values would be multiplied by the value of the arguments and the total is computed. The problem is, when I test the sql query to do an insert, I get an error as shown below Error Value: Missing objects do not support conversion to float. Assuming you have followed: http://www.zope.org/Members/mcdonc/HowTos/zopeinstall/ZOPE-INSTALL-HOWTO the next thing to look at is http://www.zope.org/Members/jens/docs/newbie_caveats I think your problem may be to do with the fact that the Zope binaries for Linux ship with the -D (=debug) option in the start script enabled by default. With this enabled, when you close the terminal you started zope in, you stop zope. If I am right, then this is an FAQ. Each time I answer it, I plaintively wonder aloud why the -D flag would be the default, but I am generally ignored. Good luck with it anyways. dtml and paths

Hi, everyone. I've got an images directory in my root, and different directories within it (top, mainbody) for organizing my images. I'd really like to reference them like this (from my root folder): <dtml-var name="images/top/logo_png"> but apparently I can't use / in a name. So how exactly do I reference these images? I can do this: <IMG src="&dtml-URL1;/images/top/logo_png"> but that seems kind of hacky, considering the DTML system is supposed to inherently know how to deal with images. Limiting Product use

We have a custom User Folder Product that we don't want our users to be able to create new instances of. How do I make the Product not show up to anyone unless they have Manager roles in the root? I can set the security permissions to not allow them to create it, but it still shows up in the security tab and users could just add it. Name error cookie check

Hai all, I'm having a problem with a site. I want to check for user agent, and if the visitor uses MSIE, Netscape or Mozilla set a cookie 'showflash'. This is for the flash site. The other user agents have to go to the html-site.
