Psycopg 1.0.X - Python 2.1

Hi all, have had some fun with installing psycopg in different machines and trying to take newer version into use. Below is the configure,which works for me with psycopg 1.0.1 and versions with errprs for 1.0.3 and 1.0.4. Any ideas what migth be the problem? Help appreciated. Ps. Is it just me or does someone else think, that this installing is sometimes too hard. Hi! If I try to run popen on win9x I get: "Can't locate w9xpopen.exe" the file is missing. The native Python2.2 contains this file thomas

ZCatalogue work with files in LocalFS?

To All: If I upload files thru LocalFS can I use automatic cataloguing of these files to search their contents? How would I define the new object with a ZClass? pyperl + perl-5.8.0

Hi, has anybody tried to compile pyperl using the perl-5.8.0? DTMLMethod.document_src() Permissions

Hi Which Security Permission controles DTMLMethod.document_src()? It seems to be 'View managements screens': DTMLMethod: __ac_permissions__=( ('View management screens', ('document_src', 'PrincipiaSearchSource')), ... But I have this permission, and it still doesn't give me the src... (Browser asks for username and pwd) Any suggestions? (I could not find this information (which permission is needed to run a function) in the DocFinderEverywhere(0.3.3). Is it there or can it be added?) Help: Data.fs.lock is corrupted

Hi, I am having problems with Data.fs.lock. I have been reported by the person that makes the system's back up that the data.fs.lock file appears to be corrupted. I have made some research and I have found out that there is no need to backup this file, but they are requesting me another solution. I was wondering if it is possible to delete it and recreate it. If so, how would I do it? Would this recreation be something automatic done by Zope at restart, or do I have to do it myself? Can I delete the data.fs.lock file and live without it? And last quetion, what is the purpose of data.fs.lock? I have not found any documentation at all explaining what is it for. (Appart that it is a database lock...though this can be self explanatory for some :-)) Thanks a lot for your time, Bel�n

Keyword Index Question

Hello, I have an object which is included in a ZCatalog that watches, among other things, the attributes 'keywords' (for a keyword index) and 'fulltext' (for a text index). However, I don't get what I expect. First, even though my class inhereits from CatalogAware, new objects aren't always added to the zcatalog.
