Hi, it's me again, this time trying to interpret dynamically generated TAL (yes, we convinced our customer to go TAL, at least in this point. The setting: we generate TAL from a source XML via XSLT. Now we want to render it. It passes input verbatim to output. Am I missing anything obvious? Am I trying --again-- the impossible? Thanks for any pointers -- tomas

Custom ZClasses absent from addmenu after upgrading

I am in the process of upgrading a site on NT from 2.3.3 on one machine to 2.5.1 on another. I copied across the data.fs, reinstalled a few products and everything seems to be working OK apart from the addmenu which stubbornly refuses to list a number of custom ZClasses. They list OK in the Control Panel, existing instances still work and I can copy/paste to create new ones. Any suggestions much appreciated. Peter

Try it with a single integer value, and if that works then you are probably OK. SSL client certificate authentication

Has anyone got any hints as to how to set this up? We're running with an apache frontend that handles the SSL. Our ZODB has a ClientCertUser Db product installed, but I can't find any reference to it on zope.org or on the web as a whole. Richard

Values in transient object container not persistant?

Hello all, I just started using /temp_folder/session_data for our site and found the following behaviour. The default value for "Maximum number of subobjects"=1000 is much to low, because it is reached within minutes. So I changed it to 0 (means infinite). But if I restart the server, "Maximum number of subobjects" is set back to 1000. I think the reason for this is /temp_folder which contains /temp_folder/session_data. What should I do to keep my settings? Thanks in advance Sven

Edit ZClass Properties

Hi, The problem I'm trying to solve is how to change the values of properties of a ZClass from a python script. Simple assignment does not work, e.g. myZClass['aProperty'] = value I did a web search and found some HOWTOs mentioning a method 'manage_editProperties'. I could not find any documentation about this method in 'The Zope Book' or the Zope help. Is there another place to look for API documentation that I am not aware of? My main question is: what is the procedure to change properties of a ZClass programatically? Thanks. --Borislav

I was asked in the preferences of one wiki i participate of the time zone delay in hours of their local time (somewhere in the states, dont remember). It was six hours for me (Germany).
