Versions problem in 2.6.1

I am seeing a problem in Zope 2.6.1, freebsd4, Python 2.1.3 (with thread patch) when using versions. I have modified objects that ZMI thinks are locked (they show the red-diamond when I'm working in the version, and the red-diamon / padlock when I'm not), even though I saved those changes, with a comment, from the Version management panel. Indeed, I cannot save the changes from the Version ZMI: it says there are no unsaved versions. Yet Zope thinks there are unsaved versions, as witnessed by the presence of the lock icon when I working in the version. The Version undo panel shows my saved versions! Evidently there is a disconnect here somewhere. The my folder structure is: /foo /bar Version Object /baz files with changes Anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer not to undo the changes. On a related question: can I work in a version without going through the ZMI? In other words, if I want a to test the changes as if I were coming in live from the outside, is that possible? Hi dear zopistas, Currently i switch my ZWiki from DTML to ZPT. It's my first ZPT experience, so please be so kind and help me with this issue. What i want to do: I used to have the backlinks on the wikipage itself, in DTML i had the code in the DTMLmethod but now i want to use the existing function backlinksFor(self,page) from the ZWiki product code. My aproach was to define the module (in wikipage.pt): <span tal:define="pps python:modules['Products.ZWiki.ZWikiPage']"> </span> When i call the wikipage i'm asked for username/password, i enter my manager account but it asks again and again. Why? Which permission controls this? Is there a better way to do this? Zope & SSL & IE6 redirection bug

I have run into several problems with the M2Crypto SSL and ZServerSSL, most of which I have worked through. I'll post something to www.memeplex.com and/or www.zope.org soon. However, I'm wondering if I am the only one? What are people's preferred methods for supporting SSL on Linux? Should I just have leveraged Apache? On a final note, the latest IE6 on WinXP seems to have a bug in which a redirect causes the browser to generate a subsequent request in which the "Host:" header reflects the original, rather than new, hostname/port. This leads to incorrect operation of the absolute_url() method ... and all kinds of nastiness. Anyone also see this? A.

dtml-sendmail error
