Any help would be appreciated. thanks John

Re: [Zope] page hits ?

Hi Marcio The problem with Z2.log is that it usually logs too much! It shows every file,image,html,... No boss can comprehend what Z2 logs. I therefore wrote my own logger, which logs one line per page called from the server. I used a simple python script, which I call from the standard_html_header. Later I use an AWK script to analyze it and show me the numbers I want. Regards Oliver Erlewein

updataCatalog call
by Niclas Kuehne 27 Mar '02

27 Mar '02

Hello! Can anyone help me on how to call the updateCatalog method in Zope? I would like to call the same method that is called by clicking on the "Update Catalog" button in the Advanced tab of the Catalog Mananagement Screen. I want to run this method in a DTML Script for Xron, since CatalogAwareness doesn't work for me. Thank you! Niclas Kuehne nk(a)nkmail.com

page hits ?
by Marcio Marchini 27 Mar '02

27 Mar '02

Hi, I was wondering if you guys have any pointers on where Zope logs page hits, so that I can show this info to "internal" people who may want to see web site usage. I was hoping to use http://www.zope.org/Members/teyc/ZGDChart to visualize the data, but I need the data in the first place ! thanks !! marcio

I'm way behind in my zope list reading, but has the pyssh project at sourceforge been mentioned in this thread? last I looked, I seem to recall that there were two seperate projects for this? -- Anthony Baxter <anthony(a)interlink.com.au> It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

[HELP] How can i forbid upload of all .HQX files ?
by Frdric LEMAITRE 27 Mar '02

27 Mar '02

Hello, Thanks for all your reponses about my problem with big .HQX files. My only solution, to avoid my Zope's server of crash, is to forbid upload of all .HQX files. Is there a way to do this (from HTTP upload AND from FTP upload) ? (P.S : I use CMFExternalFile) Thanks in advance. Fred. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
