More VHM + apache + images trouble

Hi everyone, I'd like to add a "me too" to Dean's question about broken images when using VHM and apache rewrite rules. Here's my configuration: I've got Zope running on port 8080 with the following rewrite rules in my httpd.conf file: <VirtualHost 10.0.0.2> #IP 208.42.140.222 ServerName www.qwerk.org DocumentRoot /var/www/qwerk.org ServerAlias qwerk.org *.qwerk.org RewriteEngine On RewriteLogLevel 0 RewriteLog "/var/log/apache/rewrite_log" RewriteRule ^/mailman/ - [L] RewriteRule ^/webalizer/ - [L] RewriteRule ^/~(.*) - [L] RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://www.qwerk.org:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/www.qwerk.org/Wilson/Virtual… [P] </VirtualHost> The last rule rewrites requests for http://www.qwerk.org to http://www.qwerk.org:8080/Wilson/. Everything works perfectly when I visit http://www.qwerk.org:8080/Wilson/, but the main image is broken if you go to http://www.qwerk.org/. If you view the HTML source at http://www.qwerk.org/ you'll see that href for the image is clearly wrong. It leaves out the /Wilson. Domain docroot

The default for administering Zope is http://localhost:8080 <http://localhost:8080> , how do I configure ZOPE to serve http://mydomain.com <http://mydomain.com> without the 8080? I plan on using ZOPE for our IntrAnet and wanted to make sure I can have our employees point to our Intranet domain name, without the 8080. Thanks Allen May MCSi Web Admin 800.842.1702 x7628

VHM + apache + images

Hi, I'am having problems with VHM, Apache and images, my rewrite statement is straight from the zope site.. NameVirtualHost 203.31.212.17 <VirtualHost www.wells.com.au> ServerName www.wells.com.au DocumentRoot /home/www.wells.com.au <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteLog "/var/log/apache/rewrite_log" RewriteLogLevel 1 RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://203.31.212.17:9080/VirtualHostBase/http/www.wells.com.a u:80/wells/VirtualHostRoot/$1 [P] </IfModule> </VirtualHost> I have a VHM in my zope root with domain wells.com.au mapped to /wells the problem is all the html files get found ok but none of the images are displayed. My images or in /wells/images directory. Right clicking on the graphic shows that the graphic location is http://www.wells.com.au/images/somthing.gif If I do a http://203.31.212.17:9080/wells then everthing is ok. [note: the domain stated is currently only setup for internal use]

Hello, Has anyone else had this problem? >From a python script, I call mhost.send(messageText=mText, mto=emailaddr, mfrom=frmemailaddr, subject=title, encode=none). All variables have previously been defined. The contents of messageText cannot be seen in the email. I tried directly placing a string, i.e messageText='hello', as well has defining the value in a separate variable and setting that equal to messageText. I never get anything in the body of the email. The to and from and subject fields are always fine. Any suggestions? Thank you, Shilpa

force bobobase_modification_time

Is it possible to control the bobobase_modification_time at all? When moving objects but actually recreating them through a little script they all get the natural bobobase_modifiaction_time which is that of the creation date. I was _hoping_ to do something like this: object.bobobase_modification_time.set('2001/10/09') ...or... object.bobobase_modification_time.set(ZopeTime('2001/10/09')) ...but this syntax obviously doesn't work. Hello, I want to define my workflow in CMF. In portal_workflow tool i can see only 3 options undo, ownership, security. what about the other options like "workflows", "contents", "overview" or the "add workflow (button)". ZMySQLDA compile error

I installed and compiled MySQL-Python successfully in my Zope 2.4.3 tree. Afterwards I start compiling ZMySQLDA with "make -f Makefile.pre.in boot" which runs without error. url_quote in python scripts.

Hi, I'm building hyperlinks in python scripts based on objects (Zope 2.3.3). This works till no object has space or special (French) character in its id. Unfortunately, I did dot find the way to have an url_quote in a python script (can't import urllib) like in a <dtml-var... url_quote>. Thanks in advance. --Gilles PS: Where's the wish list for next versions of Zope. Some kind of "Unrestricted python scripts" available to managers only would be so cool !
