Zope Misconfiguration

When i was configuring a site root for zope, i put the base as my site (www.whatever.com) but when i put in the path i put in the local path (/www/www.whatever.com) now whenever i try to log in to zope it tries to go to www.whatever.com/www/www.whatever.com/manage what file can i edit to fix this? PythonScript calling a DTML method and passing a list

Hello, I am still unclear on how to call a DTML method with a script while passing the results of that script. For example. The results of some long form call a PythonScript called makeSummary I want the results of makeSummary called MyList to be passed to a DTML Method called printResults ---makeSummary PythonScript----- REQUEST = context.REQUEST RESPONSE = context.REQUEST.RESPONSE """ Magic Python Code that generates a summary list""" MyList=['one','two','three',...] # Simuation print context.printResults( MyList, context, context.REQUEST ) return printed -----end of script------ --section of printResults DTML method--- <dtml-in MyList> Score Priority <dtml-var sequence-item> </dtml-in> ----------- Zope returns a Key Error: and states that "This resource (printResults) may be trying to reference a nonexistent object or variable MyList". It seems MyList is either gone or not in the namespace of the printResults DTML method. What am I doing wrong? CMF problem... adding news

I have installed CMF 1.0 on Zope 2.3.1.2beta and everything seems to work well (it is very impressive) except when I try to add news.... Folder problem..

Hi y'all, I have a small problem with the URL that is created by zope - I don't know if it will cause a problem or not. OK I have my root folder which holds the standard header and then a sub folder that holds the html docs. When I click in the header on the html docs I want I use 'htmldocs/docname' in the html - It works fine and gives me the page that I want, however if I click on the same link again it will give me 'htmldocs/htmldocs/docname' and each time I click on it it adds in another htmldocs for me. Any ideas how to get around this? Thanks Laurie

Hi all, I am getting an error when I query a ZCatalog. I'm working using ZPatterns with Zope 2.3.1b3 (source release, python 1.5.2, linux2), Python Version 1.5.2, System Platform freebsd4. Error Type: ValueError Error Value: __nonzero__ should return >= 0 Here is the scenerio leading to the problem. 1. Create an object in a rack with newItem() Search ZCatalog for the item and it is found. 2. Delete the item Search ZCatalog for the item and the error is produced. Updating or Clearing the catalog resolves the problem. Here is the Skinscript method I use with the Catalog. WHEN OBJECT ADDED CALL ProjectCatalog.catalog_object(self, _.string.join(self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')) WHEN OBJECT DELETED CALL ProjectCatalog.uncatalog_object(_.string.join(self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')) WHEN OBJECT CHANGED CALL ProjectCatalog.uncatalog_object(_.string.join(self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')), ProjectCatalog.catalog_object(self, _.string.join(self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')) Another thing, after I edit the item it is no longer indexed in the catalog. Is this another version of the key error issue?
