Thanks. If you need me to write a short piece around the code that explains what it does, and how, let me know. I read your navbar howto, which is well-written and usable. However, personally I think that manually putting URLs in a TinyTable and iterating that goes against the grain, or the zen if you will, of Zope itself. Say somebody adds a page, removes a page, or changes a title -- you have to go over the TinyTable manually. On some of my pages I use another scheme which revolves around marking public documents with a "public" property and enumerating those. The code looks a bit like this:     <img src="/Images/activedoc.gif" width="8" height="8"><b></b><br>  <img src="/Images/spacer.gif" width="8" height="8"><a href=""></a><br>    This lists all documents and folders on the current level that have an IsPublic property that is non-null, and also displays a "you are here"-type of bullet next to the active document's title. All other entries are given as links. No need to maintain a TinyTable, as the code will discover which documents are published. The drawback, of course, is that it only enumerates documents in its immediate parents: If you'd like to place site-wide links in this list, you could just iterate through PARENTS[-1] as well. In the first instance (frameset) you want the contents of title_src. You get that via  (as you said). In the second instance, you want the contents of the variable whose name is given by the value of title_src (I think that you should make title_src a property BTW). something like <table> <tr> <td colspan=2>  </td> ... </tr> </table> should work - well it did on my box! :) This is from Amos' guide to Advanced DTML (don't let the title put you off though). encoding strings for CGI

I have a query which produces a table whereby I wish to click on each cell, and drill down further to another report. The relevant string is <td><a href=showClassReport?manu=</a></td> but it fails if Manufacturer has a space in it. Explicitly avoiding acquisition?

Is there a simple way to explicitly avoid a folder subobject to be acquired? That is to say, I'd like to find a given object in some folder, but not implicitly acquired through a parent folder. I guess I can write a External Method implementing a function that brute-force searches the list returned by objectValues() for the object, but this is potentially "slow", at least compared to a dictionary lookup. I thought it had something to do with shared libraries, but that was as far as I got (I was struggling with a corrupted Database at the time). I'd really like to try out ZServer on SunOS 5.6 and SunOS 5.7 (which is where I'll be hosting it) though, so if anyone has *any* clue....cheers. tone,

Hi all, Digital Creations is pleased to announce the availability of Zope 1.10.3b1. http://www.zope.org/Download/Releases/Zope-1.10.3b1/ This release fixes a number of bugs including a significant memory leak that was introduced in 1.10.0 (this is the main reason for this release). It also includes a few new DTML tag features.
