a newbie question... access control

Hi all, A real newbie question; I'll try to keep it short. I've followed the tutorial where 'Stan' is setting up some simple site, and tried to do a little shortcutting and changed the details so I could see if I really understood what was going on, and have run into a baffling (to me) glitch: I'm running as the site superuser, but am getting an access control error: "You are not authorized to access <em>manage_changeProperties</em>." I suspect I'm missing something real obvious, but I don't know any good ways to chase down the problem yet. Any pointers? What are the common ways of chasing down problems like this? (I am trudging through the code, but surely I don't need to know it all before I can deal with a problem like this one. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out where to start.) manage_addImage does not work

Hello, I am trying to add an image to a folder, from the local filesystem. I fill the form with the Id, Title and Image fields but after clicking on "Add" nothing happens, the browser just waits. My logs show no sign of activity until I click some other link. Then I get this: xxx.xx.xxx.xx - - [14/Dec/1999:18:06:46 +0100] "POST /Testfolder/manage_addProduct/OFSP/manage_addImage HTTP/1.0" 400 2083 The Zope process shows no sign of CPU locking, or any other abnormal behaviour. Import restrictions?

I have an external method residing in the Extensions folder that tries to import a module outside the Zope source tree. The method imports correctly from the python interpreter, but I get an ImportError when calling it from Zope. Are there import restrictions imposed by Zope?
