What's the likelyhood that Python is playing silly buggers with type's? To python a bare '451' will generally look like, and be converted to, an Integer instead of a string. Should be no problem. We have instances of Zope running with Apache and with IIS. Also have a server running Zope (ZServer) and Apache independently. FTP upload of ExtImage

Hi there! Can anyone explain me why the following doesn't work: I'm trying to upload ExtImage to new folder in Zope using FTP. I have found that to tell Zope to create ExtImage instead of Image I should write external method PUT_factory and put it into the folder where I'm going to store image. For uploading ExtImage I use storbinary method of FTP object (file is representing as StringIO object). BUT: My PUT_factory doesn't work! Who can explain why? What am I doing wrong? Question about permissions

Hi, I'm working on a python product. My question is about finding wich permission protects a given method, in order to generate or not some links in the product's management interface. Those links are class dependant, so I need to ask the class for which ones it does support (something like manage_options) and then check the ones the user has rights on. Currently I do this by looking at the class and some of the __bases__ classes __ac_permissions__ but I think zope may provide a more convenient way to do this. Does it? Formulator error

Hello All, I have a shared Zope account at Zettai.net. I need to use formulator for a project. Something strange is happening: when I add a "Formulator Form" and click in the "Settings" TAB, I get this error: Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: header The formulator version is the last: 1.5.0 Anybody has an idea ?? Most definitely, in fact, that's the prefered way of running Zope (Behind Apache). runtime error when creating selection property from function

HI, I don't know if this is the correct list, but here goes. I have written a custom python product and recieve the following error when I try to view the "Properties" page: Error Type: RuntimeError Error Value: function attributes not accessible in restricted mode The source of the error is a selection property I have defined in _properties like so: {'id':'data_source', 'type':'selection', 'mode': 'w', 'select_variable':'getDataSources'} Directly following my _properties definition in the class, I have the getDataSources method: def getDataSources (self): """ Get the sources (methods, queries, etc.) that we can pull data from. """ ds = [] for item in self.superValues(('DTML Method', 'External Method', 'Script (Python)', 'Z SQL Method')): ds.append(item.id) return ds More specifically, the error stems from the call to self.superValues(...) in the for loop. If I comment out the for loop and manually populate the ds list, it works fine. It also works fine if I change the 'type':'selection' to 'type':'multiple selection' in the _properties definition. I am running Zope 2.6.1 on Windows ME with Pyton 2.1.3. Why does Zope think I am runnng in restricted mode when I make this call? Why does this work for multiple selection but not selection types?
