We're going to be doing some more reshuffling of zope.org, with a bit
of downtime - around an hour, this monday, Nov 1, between 10am and
11am EST. We're hoping to increase all-around responsivness in the
site as a result - we shall see!

Hello!
Russian-speaking Pythoneers, Zopers unite!
I am trying to revive the mailing list for russian-speaking. I also want
to add the Zope topic to the list. I am writing and debuggung simple web
site based on Zope, and soon will provide read-only access to the managemenet
interface for everyone who want to learn how to install, configure and run
Zope application.
Anyone interesting to talk about beloved Python language and Zope in
Russian please subscribe:
echo subscribe python | mail majordomo(a)list.glas.net
It is stndard majordomo, all commands available, including "help".
Our webpages are here:

Programmers don't die, they just GOSUB without RETURN.
I've created a product called Local File System which allows you to mount
directories from the local file system in your Zope server and serve the
files as regular Zope objects. It also allows browsing directory contents.
This is currently a development release so I wouldn't recommend installing
it on a production server. Anyone interested in this sort of thing please
give it a try and let me know what you think. It's available at
http://www.zope.org/Members/jfarr/LocalFS
Thanks,
-jfarr

As part of my effort to make an appearence in every issue of the Zope
Weekly News ;-), I'm pleased to announce the release of The Tranalyzer:
http://www.zope.org/Members/tsarna/Tranalyzer
The Tranalyzer is a tool to parse ZODB3 .fs-type databases and print
information about the transactions in in human-readable form. Special
features include the ability to seek to a given file position and start
printing the first transaction at or after that point, and the ability
to work with live .fs files, printing new transactions as they are
appended (think tail -f)
