Issue Dealer is a issue management tool featuring a weblog publisher (client), weblog (server), WebDAV client, WYSIWYG editing of HTML and Images and more. Changes since the last announcement: 0.9.57: - Fixed bug where the save link menus raised a TypeError - Fixed bug where collapsing an issue expanded by level would raise an ValueError - Fixed bug where using previous, next and batch links would break the navigation links - Added batches to browse view - Fixed bug where issue location wouldn't be displayed in the browse view - Fixed bug where expanding the issue tree by level would't work below the issue dealer 0.9.56: - Fixed minor bugs related to the new batching algorhitms - Added expand/collapse level controls on tree view - Now removing session-based items from menu for anonymous users 0.9.55: - Removed support for CMF (see readme files for more info) - Upgraded HTML editing area If you're interested in trying a demo, sign up at the demo site, http://demos.issue-dealer.net. Hi, for all people who are (mis;))-using the Zope Mangement Interface (ZMI) as small, but very powerful, flexible and rock-stable Content-Management-System, I've just released HTMLDocument 1.0 (which I use for several years now). HTMLDocument supports WYSIWYG-editing of HTML-content with Epoz (http://mjablonski.zope.de/Epoz) and renders its content (just the body of an edited or uploaded HTML-page) automagically with the famous combination of standard_html_header / standard_html_footer (DTML) or a single standard_html_template (ZPT). So all your content can be seperated from any template-logic and you'll setup an easy-to-use-and-very-flexible CMS-solution based on the ZMI within minutes. Create a template for your site, create a folder (for seperating your content from templates and other scripts), create some HTMLDocuments in this folder, click view and you're online...:) HTMLDocument is a simple solution for all people who don't need or want a big suite like Plone / CPS or want a stable (and easy to upgrade) basement for their content: HTMLDocument should work out of the box as long as Zope supports the builtin DTMLDocument on which HTMLDocument is based. This release marks the new, supported branch of the CMF, and should be suitable for production use. What is the CMF? Zope X3 3.0.0 RC 3 released

Hello Zope community, The Zope 3 development team is proud to announce the third release candidate for Zope X3 3.0.0. Hopefully this will be the last one. Zope X3 is the next major Zope release and has been written from scratch based on the latest software design patterns and the experiences of Zope 2. The "X" in the name stands for "experimental", since this release does not try to provide any backward-compatibility to Zope 2. Downloads http://zope.org/Products/ZopeX3 Installation instructions for both Windows and Un*x/Linux are now available in the top level README.txt of the distribution. ZODB 3.2.4 (final) released

I'm pleased to announce the release of ZODB 3.2.4 (final). This corresponds to the ZODB (and ZEO) that shipped with Zope 2.7.3 (final). You can download a source tarball or Windows installer from: http://zope.org/Products/ZODB3.2 Note that 3.2.4 incorporates a major change in semantics: it's incorrect to attempt to close a connection when objects from that connection are still in a modified state, and 3.2.4 raises the new ConnectionStateError exception in such cases. 3.2.4 also incorporates a significant ZEO performance fix, and a number of smaller bugfixes. See the news file for details: http://zope.org/Products/ZODB3.2/NEWS Note that ZODB 3.2.4 does not support Zope 2.7.2, because the Zope 2.7.2 publishing subsystem is an example of application code that didn't always finish a transaction before closing connections. I am pleased to announce the release of PloneCollectorNG 1.2.4 (PCNG) PloneCollectorNG is a Plone-based bugtracking solution and framework. Changes since V 1.2.3: - minor bugfixes - applied Kapil's patch to provide a better subclassing support for PCNG - fixed URL of quicklinks in search portlet - searches could not be saved properly - all workflows removed the assigned users from an issue if the issue state changed into a final state (defered, resolved, rejected). The workflow tool must be recreated in this case to fix the problem for existing PCNG instance (Configuration -> Maintenance) - email notifications now contain a References: and In-Reply-To: header to provide a better sorting within your email client - notification_policies.py: fixed AT accessor problem - removed most of the AT magic introduced in earlier releases. PCNG now uses ManagedSchema from !Archetypes instead of !PCNGSchema which introduced a lot of dependencies and pain over the last releases. MVCC solves nearly every problem with ZODB read-conflict errors which is very important for high-traffic Zope sites. - Extension Classes were rewritten as Python new-style classes making all features of Python new-style classes available in Zope objects. This includes support for cyclic garbage collection.
